I’m such a mean bunny mum ’cause they didn’t get any presents at all!  Buy Molly’s old family came to see her today, so that might count as a present to Molly…although she was really scared of them.

First, a quiet house!  I have been baking for DAYS & they DO NOT like the kitchen sounds.  Then when I was shopping @ Rite Aid the other day, they had LARGE fleece blankets – 4/$10.00.  They LOVE them & the colors I picked out go well with their coats!  I will get pictures to post tonight or tomorrow now that I’ll have more time.  Then, believe it or not, they had never had raisins before and they LOVE those as well!  We give them fresh fruit treats but since neither of us like raisins, we never bought any before .  Being new to this site, I have read pretty much everything & am more appreciative than I can say for all the tips, stories & pictures…you are all truly devoted, patient & loving “bunny folk” and as we all know, you MUST have a good sense of humor and like to laugh !!!   I’m kinda new to posting, but these little faces are so cute!  Hope everyone had a WONDERFUL holiday season.

Otto got a willow toy shaped like a star, some pumpkin cookies from BB (I was worried he wouldn’t eat them, but after playing with one for 5 minutes he ate it and loved it 😉 and a new maze haven that we just put together at night. He’s already started “redecorating” it.

Well everyone got basil and some willow toys. TBH there isn’t much ‘want’ in my house-they are quite spoiled (And I quite bunny-broke lol) their aren’t any veggies they like that they don’t get regularly and they have about every toy -and their own room. So we had good cuddles and some willow toys and basil. And in the next few days (I have quite the vacation this xmas!!) I will be rebuilding Rupert’s window seat-more rabbit sky walk inspired http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cy4wRw7J1cA as I did take it all down to rebuild with Chuck’s illness and new needs.

Mikey got a wonderful stocking (75$ worth…I don’t know what’s wrong with me-my animals have more expensive things then I do!) and I am just uploading the pictures=will share And soon (got a new camera for xmas-old one was eaten by Mikey lol) I will post some pics of the new rabbit room

The good thing about getting pets presents is that seeing them happy makes us happy, so really, its a gift for both yourself, and the pets!

We got ours a bun run tunnel (but they got that early so Archie would stop eating the curtains!), they each got willow candy canes on X-mas eve (which Sandy destroyed in a few hours), a mini willow ball and mini ring, pumpkin treats, apple cinnamon treats, and balsa fruit blocks. They didn’t get any out time though, I felt bad, but we were running around to different houses both days.

They with the help of my husband got me Disapproving Rabbits hehe! Oh and my grandma got them a present for their room…she likes to do hook work (like rugs) and she hooked a rug for them that has 2 bunnies on them that we will put on the wall (it’s not to big) and our cousin painted a picture of each of them with holly around on a wooden sled. I should have take a picture of it…it’s already in the basement since it’s x-masy.

Pepper LOVES this time of year – SO MUCH TISSUE PAPER!!!  Seriously – she’s ignored every “toy” i’ve ever gotten her unless there was food involved.

So I made her a 2-story cardboard castle from a couple of large cardboard boxes (a TP case and a 20 lb hay shipment).  I cut “doors” in the sides and left the cardboard attached along the bottom because she loves to chew it.  There is a “window” in the upper box, as well as a door in the side and an opening down to the lower box.  I put in a couple of loosely crumpled balls of packing paper and tissue paper.

I put in a little bit of hay and a couple of pellets to entice her to go in and explore.  It took a few days for her to get used to it, but now I occasionally wake in the middle of the night to hear her happily demolishing it.  She’s a very project-oriented bunny.
