Well, me and Chubs and Comet all made it to Montana! This is where my family is and we’ll make the rest of the trip to OR after the holidays.
They are total troopers! 1100 miles in the car (over 2 days) and 2 new environments and they are doing great! They were pretty stressed after day 2 and I was worried because it took them about an hour to start eating and come out of the “pet store cage” we are using for the trip. Since then though, they’re doing great- probably a little bit annoyed since they are confined to my room here (my parents have that new puppy) except when she is in her kennel at night and I let them run for a while. They are pretty careful since they can smell her everywhere and have thumped their feet at me if I forget to wash my hands before trying to pet them, and I smell like the puppy! Anyways, that’s my update. I’ve been neglecting BB since leaving MN! (Also, I’m all the more thankful that they are bonded for this trip. I think it’s making life 100 times easier for them! Built in comfort! -
It is so great you can take your bunnies with you home for the holidays! I wish I could. I have left them with my boyfriend for three days, and he thinks cleaning the toilet is disgusting, so I know by the end of tonight they will be peeing on the floor because the toilet is too dirty for them to clean.

So glad you’re there before this midwest bad weather gets worse. Sounds like they are doing really well.
Message for BF’s and caretakers – if you can’t stand to clean it, at least toss some fresh clean litter on top of the soiled stuff so it’s underneath. It’s better than doing nothing. Good grief.

Well the three of us have made it to Oregon in one piece (well technically three, lol). We are pretty much all the way moved in the boys are back to being best friends! Yay! I think it was just all the stress and moving around and car trips…they are doing great now. Anyways just wanted to give an update and say hello, I just got my internet hooked up today so I’ve been a little out of touch!
