I suggest a pet exercise pen. Room for Hershey to play, and your friend doesn’t have to pick up Hershey to put him in his cage.

That’s a good friend, who offers to look after a pet that they are afraid of. Serious – not a sarcastic statement.
Does Hershey have a phonebook to shred? Can you bunny proof a room for her to stay in like a bathroom so she’s not in her cage?

You could just leave her with me….. LOL

Rabbit Pam, thanks for editting. I just came back on to ask MirBear to remove the street for their safety.
MirBear, please feel free to message me, or have your Mom message me. You can inform her that I’m a single middle aged lady.

                          Agreed!!

Looks like you may have found a solution but if not-possible your bun can stay in a bathroom? That gives room to exercise-no chance of escape-accidents occur on tile or lino-just ensure toilet seat is down (A MUST) and thats a great place for a week

I would recommend that if your friend can take care of the bunny’s basic needs, do not worry about the exercise for the week. A week is not going to harm your bunny. Ideally, an xpen attached to the cage would allow for plenty of space. Make sure to provide some toys, some soft areas/blankets.

Don’t ask your friend to take her out. My concern is if your friend is not comfortable handling your bunny, she may not be able to get her back in the cage, or the bun might get lost/stuck somewhere and your friend won’t be able to find her.

I would not recommend the bathroom idea, even in a bathroom there will be wood cabinets, door frames, baseboards, shower curtains, bathrugs… a million things for an unsupervised bunny to destroy.

yeah my mom doesnt want her out of the cage unless my friends takes her out but its great to know that it wont effect her much if she stays in the cage.. she might get mad when i get home but a few carrots or grapes should fix that
