Okay...if you won't go get this adorabun...for heaven's sake, put him on a plane to Fairbanks! I'll take him in half a heartbeat! hehehehe.....You're among friends here, my dear bunny addict. We ALL know how you feel and we're not going to stop you! What's his name? And oy...I'm looking at this picture, he doesn't look overweight to me. 0_o I think Mimzy is rounder than this guy...maybe I need to put him on a diet? >.< |

Oh the poor dear, if you DO bring him home, you'd have to knit him an orange and black sweater so he'd blend in with the rest of your family |

Well, I called the lady & told her that I'd pick him up Fri evening. Now I better make a spot for him in my Kitchen for his quarentine period. Not that I think he would have anything as he doesn't go outside & has never met other bunnies but better safe than sorry.

How exciting I actually have 8 bunnies and consider myself at capacity. I think it really just depends on the person, and the situation. The two things that make it "capacity" for me is their exercise time, they all have separate rooms to run around in, and I'm running out of rooms! The other thing is vet bills, we try to keep our savings for the "bunny fund" at a certain amount, but with 8 bunnies that money can go very quickly. |

He's here. I picked him up this afternoon. It was too cold last evening so we changed to today. I left him alone in his cage in the kitchen for a couple of hours to adjust. Both the cat & the dog are out there for the 1st sniffs now (bun still in his cage) & there is no thumping. He is sniffing them through the cage not hiding in the far corner. I think he's going to adgust fine.
I put the cage right beside the bail (farmer small square bail not pet store size) of hay. I wish I could read bunny minds, " Hey, there's an enormous pile of dinner there that I can't quite reach!"
The lady gave him a small square of chocolate in his cage for a last treat. She said he must have known sonething was up because he would not take it from her like he usually does. I thought about removing it but what the heck, he can have his last treat from her. He'll never get anymore so I hope he makes it last. LOL
More pictures & an update soon. |
