So, I have a kind of odd request.  I’m pretty sure there are some native Spanish speakers on here…. I have a really short (less than one page) composition to turn in for class next week.  My professor has already looked at it and pointed out some errors (we turn the compositions in twice, for two grades, which gives us a chance to edit and refine).  I’ve done the corrections and everything to the best of my ability, but I was wondering if there’s anyone on BB who has a few minutes to kill and wouldn’t mind taking a quick look at it for grammatical errors?

        Thanks!

Mi libro favorito: “Gone with the Wind”

Mi libro favorito es “Gone with the Wind” por Margaret Mitchell.

its good! all i would recommend changing is the quotation marks- in spanish “quote” is «quote».
i didnt see any grammatical errors.

I might be late, if this is due to submit tomorrow.

Line 3 caught my eye “Los O’Hara son de La Confederación.” I would use “pertenecer a” instead of “ser de” in case of a political association. I would do this to avoid the ‘estar or ser’ trap.

Also, in line 1 of your last paragraph, I would use the active form of your verb “inspirar” — “La historia inspira”.
