Bay Area COLD!

Omg…I know it’s 48 degrees F here and I can’t stop shivering and teeth chattering. I know you midwest/east coasters are gonna laugh at me but HOLY SMOKES ITS FREEEEZING. I can’t feel my fingers they are so stiff and cold. I’m all bundled up and still shivering ahhhhhhhh!!!! California isn’t supposed to get this cold – ok well bay area ahhhh I hate winter!

I know! I’m in Sac, but I am so cold right now! I like lots of layers of blankets though, so as long as I don’t get out of bed for the next 15+ hours then I’ll be happy. Plus, even though I don’t like being cold, I much prefer it to the heat of the summer as I get heat stroke as quick as a rabbit does!

I went to my baking club tonight. It was sprinkling a bit, although people in Utah actually call it rain (whatever) and about 40. I went without a coat. We’ve actually been really excited about our mid 50s weather that’s been keeping most from turning the heat on. It’s only getting down to right about freezing overnight. I will admit though, the steering wheel gets REALLY cold in this weather after dark.

Oh, send some of that coolness my way & I’ll send you some warmth. We’re having a Nov heat wave – temps about 102F. Unusual for this time of year I think.

I didn’t know you were in the Bay Area Lintini! I’m originally from the Los Altos area myself. (Well, I was born in Alameda, but my family moved to the Peninsula shortly thereafter.)
Come up here for some REAL cold! We gots SNOW and 25 BELOW! ~_~

Ooo….Alaska. I don’t think I could survive there. lol! Now Australia….I would love to live there!

I loved Alaska when I was there, was there for 7 months a couple years back. So pretty! But yes, rather chilly in the winter

The cold in Utah I can handle, it isn’t as bad as it was in PA, but Alaska? No way. That’s not cold, that’s crazy!

lolz…Yah, but we have BUNNY BOOTS to wear in the cold. Although I haven’t found a pair yet that I can wiggle my entire body into.
MB, where were you in Alaska? And for how long? I’ve been here 15 years this spring…moved up to the Fairbanks area because the hubby was born here and was sure it was a great place to raise the offspring. (Yup, okay for the kids, but not so much fun for the wife!)
And by Sunday night we’re supposed to be past 30 below. Yikes on toast. And this isn’t even the really cold time for us yet…wait till January/February when it goes to -60!
Waaahahaa….I wanna move to Australia too! *cries*

I was in Ketchikan for 7 months, was there the entire winter, and left just as summer was starting lol. Silly me.

We can ship you off to Kafrn, I hear she has alot of space… >.>
