First, if this counts as an advertisment than I apologise! I recently saw an ad on TV for Reebok shoes that claim to tone while you walk. As I have quite a long walk from my car to class 4 days a week I though they might add a little bit, especially since I only have yoga class once or twice a week. While I have personally eliminated the Reebok shoes because they are air pumps and my feet seem to attract thumbtacks like a magnet and Reebok doesn’t replace their $100 shoes for accidentally stepping on one. There are other brands that seem to have solid soles that I am potentially interested in. First is Earth Shoes. They seem to be good, as well as relativly inexpensive. I know that K-mart has a brand as well, but they don’t come in my size (11 womens). I would be tempted to buy the mens, but I’m girly and want something cuter than that. Does anyone have these? I would love to know your opinions!

Yeah, I’ve seen those adds! Umm.. trying to think of who else has a shoe that claims to tone as you walk… Sketchers?

I’d be interested in feedback from anyone else who’s bought these shoes cus I’m considering them too! Are they comfy? I have fairly flat feet =( so I have to use arch supports, does anyone know of any reason why these shoes couldn’t accommodate arch supports (if it’s a matter of space in the actual shoe, I can just pull out the lining that the shoe comes with) or if they’d bother my feet?

          Thanks!

ETA: Found the ones that Sketchers makes – I think they’re similar… but they’re expensive! ~$100 I’m not willing to spend that much on a pair of shoes that may or may not work like they’re supposed to… I’d rather spend that money towards a new cute dress or a pair of heels or boots! ooo, I love boots! Especially the new flat ones that are popoular this fall, they look cute, and yet are still practical enough for me to wear around campus without killing myself (unlike most of my shoes… I LOVE stilettos, as impractical as they are )  Sorry… off on a tangent. Here’s the site:

Boots are the best! Just dressy enough, but not too dressy I like those! That’s exactly the style that I want to buy, but I’m looking for a brown pair – will match most of my outfits better than grey. And I’m mad, I can’t find ANY of my stiletto boots right now… I don’t know where I put them after last fall

              I like these! http://store.delias.com/item.do?itemID=52558&categoryID=2217&sizeFilter=&colorFilter=&brandFilter=

Tehe. I love shoes. I suppose I’ll save some money and go pick up an ugly men’s pair at K-mart just to try them out. I’ll just paint them or something. Idk. Worth a shot anyways and less expensive at $40 or so.

                    So whose tried them?
