Cotton is sitting in his meatloaf taking his usual midday nap.  Totally ignoring all things around him.

So I am watchign tv  I decided to have an apple.   Umm  Sit down…  One bite   Two bites…. Crunch crunch.

Then up pops this little bunny head blue eyes bright and nose wiggling smelling the air.   Then zoom here comes this fuzzy stick of dynomite flying across the room up to me up onto the couch

To BEG for the piece of apple.   And of course being a good bunny slave I give him some bites.

Haha. How dare you eat an apple without inviting a bunny to share it with you! 😛

aww that’s so cute, I wish my bunnies were couch jumpers. They prefer to keep their feet on solid ground.

haha that is so cute. Dexter does that when I am eating a banana. He even tries to climb me when I am trying to hold the banana in the air so he doesn’t devour it

haha I love it. Dexter climbed me and got a hold of the banana peel and started pulling it down out of my hand. I love how they go crazy for their fav. treats.

Every day at 4pm sharp, Hunny lets me know that she wants me to give her daily snack of about ten honey nut cheerios. She does the same thing when my husband eats a banana, will climb up on top of him practically.

I’ve taken to eating these melba toast snacks at night before bed, because usually my tummy just starts growling when I want to be snoring.
Well of course, all three bunnies are in the room with me in their respective habitats. And just like the adorable new ad at the top of the page (now that’s a weird statement…an adorable ad?!) the minute they all hear the ‘crinkle’ of the plastic bag in the box, they are all up and begging. (well not so much Mimzy, he hasn’t really begged for anything but blueberries and I’ve had to totally cut those back, so he doesn’t think mum has anything he wants anymore)
Now I read the ingredients. Just wheat crackers with a little sea salt and no yeast and Fiver is REALLY giving me the googly eyes, but not saving me anything on car insurance….so I break off a TEENSY piece for him to try. Like fingernail size. He immediately zips back into his pen and begins to crunch away. Then it gets quiet very quickly. I look over, and apparently it didn’t taste good enough, because it’s lying in a dejected heap on the floor of his pen.
I was kind of surprised, he really is not into anything for snacks but the old fashioned APD veggie hearts, which are made differently now and give him runny stools, so I am wheedling out itsy-bitsy bites of my last bag of these for him to have after his cleanings and don’t know what I’m going to do when I run out of them. Fiver doesn’t like apples, bananas or any other normal healthy bunny treat…just these old cookies. And now I can rule out crackers as well. (yes I know these are on the ‘bad’ list, but he wanted his curiosity satisfied)
Good thing too. I don’t feel like sharing. Not that any of my bunnies NEED anything to put more ounces on. *nods*
