  It’s been ONE YEAR TODAY since I got my Samantha Bunnykins.
  
  I don’t know what to do to celebrate since she would never hold still for a Halloween costume and a photo shoot.
  
  Well, I started her day with a banana slice treat (she was under her basket. Grabbed nanner, napkin, and yanked it all under with her.)
  
  I gave her an organic carrot with tons of greens at the top for supper. I guess she isn’t hungry yet because she is under her basket again. I think she watches the sunrise in the morning and the sunset at night. She usually heads back to this room after it goes down.
  
  I’ll post two pix, from her first week with me and from more recently. Can’t believe it’s been a whole year.

  Those two photos speak volumes. In the first, I see a bunnykin unsure but perky, feeling out the situation (“hmm, I wonder how far I can go with this new slave… hmm… I wonder”) … in the second I see Your Highness, waiting to be served and hard to please, a rabbit lady who knows she’s got you at her beck and command. All achieved in one single year. Rabbitpam, I’m worried about you: what will be in your future?!

  MB, yes, she’s made herself right at home. But I still can’t pick her up AT ALL and now I doubt I ever will be able to.

  She is such a lovely bunny! Here with you she has found just such a place to not only be her regal self, but a Gollum Bunnykins if she wishes (pulling her nanner into the depths of the basket with a whispered, “My precious!”)
  I’ve had Fiver for a little over a year and he’s still very skittish about being held or touched. I hope you and I both reach our goals of getting our ‘scary’ bunnies comfortable with snuggle times before this anniversary rolls around again.
