        Hey everybunny!

Meet my 2 new holland lop babies, Bailey and Lilly! They are sisters already bonded (yay!) They do absolutely EVERYTHING together – it’s so cute to watch them and they take care of eachother It’s kinda hard to tell them apart – Bailey has a round face and Lilly’s is longer. Lilly also has more white around her nose. I have noticed that Lilly is more dominant of the two and Bailey is the follower!

        Cuddling:

        Peek-a-boo Lilly!

        Bailey in her willow tunnel:

Ok, now I want to update everyone on Bella. I gave Bella to the breeders daughter, Shannon, who has a lionlop doe that she wanted a bunny friend for. They found the perfect match and now Bella is living with her new bunny buddy and binkied all night and bonding is going great for Shannon.

I hope no one thinks I am a TERRIBLE person, but Bella was so happy being with another bunny. Valen just ignored her completely and I just know he prefers to be solo. He gets so much human attention (since we got him) that he’s content. Bella got a great home and Shannon is great with rabbits and has a very nice family.

So I hope everyone will still talk to me and think I am a valuable memeber on BB, because I love this place so much

Aah, so adorable. I think you are a great “mom” for giving up a bunny when knowing it will be happier somewhere else with another bunny.

How old are the on these pics? And do you still have Lilly?

                Thanks Monkey and Karla!

And to answer your questions Karla, they are 8 weeks old and Bailey and Lilly are sisters so I still have them both. And my meanie-head, Valen (not mean to us, just seems to ignore other bunnies! But all is well here, the girls are happy and so is Valen.

Thanks for understanding why I gave Bella up, she deserved to be happy with another bunny! That makes me so relieved that no one is mad or thinks I am a bad “mom.”

Personally, I think you did the kindest act toward Bella ..in not being selfish and keeping her from her happiness.

the new girls are ADORABLE!! I love anything “agouti” ..the “natural” coloration.. and these cuties are no exception!

Make sure to get Shannon to join the boards so we can see more of Bella

Ooh! Baby Rumballs – how sweet! We’ll miss Bella but it’s nice she has a new friend. I must ask, is the new friend also young? I’m hoping their bond will survive puberty (Bellas at least) but if Shannon does find there’s problems, get her onto the boards and we’ll see if we can help. (Plus we’ll get to see Bella )
Same goes for your girls. Littermates can travel thru puberty/sexual maturity ok together, you just will have to be vigilant. Here’s hoping they will because they make an adorable pair! Congratulations

Thanks SOOOO MUCH everyone! Glad you agree that I did the right thing and thinks I am a good mom YAY!

I hope the babies stay best of friends, I am planning on spaying both next year when they will be 6months old. I love that they are chestnut agouti bunnies, it’s so neat they look like wild bunnies! I did notice today that Lilly is darker than Bailey, so that will help me tell the difference too…lol. They are very playful and so entertaining – I just love to watch them….monkey-see, monkey-do!!

As for the age of Bella’s new friend, I am not too sure, but I think they are around the same age. Shannon emails me regularly, so I will let her know if she has trouble to let me know and we will find her some help, thanks Jersey! I will ask her to join BB too, Monkey! I am sure she will love it here!

Thanks again, you are all such wonderful people!

Careful! Monkey might have something to say about this….

Bunnymum, did the breeder class them Chestnut Agouti?  It’s what I call Rumballs coat colour after I looked into in online a bit.  Maybe I got it right because Bailey and Lillys colour looks just like his.  I have a feeling I’m going to think of them as Lil Rumbies, Itty Bitty Balls

Awww, they’re so cute. They remind me of Freya when she was a baby, except she kept her copter ears til she was about 3 months old. If I keep looking at pics of babies this cute I’ll want another and I swore I wouldn’t do that again. Babies are crazy.

i think that only you know what could be best for bella , and you would only do what is right for her so well done , as a pet owner sometimes we put our happiness first , i found it hard to have my catboi put down (he had cancer and my mother in law said i know you dont want do let him go but you have to do this for him , i stayed with him til the end . he was a stray which i took in and said to myself ill just feed him and thats it and before i knew it he was in my heart and 6 months later he was gone .very brave of you!

Monkey says if she sees something she wants to do, then yes, she does it. Why wouldn’t she, she says.
