Bun has just started shedding this week and she looks like a ragamuffin! She wants to attack the brush when I try to groom her so I gave up. EVIL BRUSH!!! Are any slaves dealing with their bunnies bad hair days?

Monkey was horrid during her shedding. Wouldn’t sit still at all for me to brush her. Had to come at her with damp hands, and even that barely worked due to her not likign to be touched. I’d only manage to get her to dash away leaving some shed fur on my hands. lol.

I know I am up so late too playing with Bun. I have a class though at 9am. I am screwed! My sleep schedule is so messed up.

Wish I’d known you guys were on last night. I had a weird night’s sleep. I fell asleep on the rug at around 9PM whle snuggling Sammy. Then went to bed and woke up at 1. Then read. Then asleep until 5:45. Sammy chewed on her bars so I let her out into bedroom for a change. (Lots of 500s. Now she’s pooped.)

Sammy’s been lightly shedding, and didn’t like my comb, but I find if I give her head pets on the floor with one hand and gently comb with the other she sits still for it.

I’m still awake. I don’t think I will be going to classes tomorrow. I don’t know I am just not tired. At least Bun is getting some rest. Sigh. I’ve been poping in and out of the chat hoping to find someone there but I never run into anyone

Calypso looks like an absolute hobo when he sheds! He gets the tufts and refuses to be in the very presence of a brush. If I approach him with the brush, he runs away like I’m trying to kill him! I can stealthily pluck tufts occasionally, but if I go too far, I get the old bunny foot flick as he runs away.

                      Good luck with Bun!

What I found works REALLY great is a mit for washing dogs. I got it from Petsmart. It’s a cloth, fingerless mit which, on the palm side, has real soft, small rubber “fingers”. It’s meant to help lather up the dog shampoo. But if you use this mit dry on the buns it works great. The soft rubber is clingy, it brushes out the loose hair great. And the buns love the feel of it.

lol @ the cute little fluff ball.

I think Mr. Bill’s idea is good. They have some that are made specifically as pethair removers, as well. They still might pull but it’ll be more natural for them for sure.

You can’t see it that well because I used my cell phone to take the pic, but around her front legs it has shed out so its all uneven and little chunks are sticking out. It’s pretty ridiculous. That gloves looks like it would do the trick. Maybe i’ll pick one up today. I am playing hookie from school because I’m not happy with music department right now. I’m a music major/french horn player, and usually a good horn section will contain 6 players. Last year we had 4, which is okay. This quarter I am the only french horn player. If any of you have been in a orchestra, any instrument, and have their entire section GONE, it’s not fun at all. Everything is a solo and the horn parts don’t make sense because the chords are all missing and they aren’t fitting right. UGH. Petsmart here I come!

Bun let me groom her today! And I used a brush and plucked a TON out. She fell asleep while I was grooming her on my bed. It was soooo cute!!! What a sweet bun she was today!

She’s so adorable snuggled up on the bed. Of course, she’s adorable as a puffball who needs to find a brush too.
