I have proof that rabbits secretly talk to each other even if they’re not together….I believe Sandy told Archie about her days of jumping up on her hay box.  So guess what Archie is doing now?!  Yup, he started hopping up in their hay box.  He’s never done this before and he’s never seen Sandy do this because we switched up her hay box to the outside of her cage after we moved her in their room.  When we take her out she can’t get back to her cage so she can’t jump into her hay box.  So how in the world did Archie discover this   I might have to put a top or something on it.  He did this several times today.  He was 1/2 way down the box and I couldn’t see his head an hour ago.  I was finally able to video tape it.  At the end of the 2nd video I taped them in the corner and they’re always staring at Sandy…too bad they can’t get along just yet (taking a break until I get over this cold)

Hehehe…it’s what has been called the Hundredth Monkey Theory.

“The hundredth-monkey effect is a supposed phenomenon in which a learned behaviour spreads instantaneously from one group of monkeys to all related monkeys once a critical number is reached. By generalisation it means the instantaneous, paranormal spreading of an idea or ability to the remainder of a population once a certain portion of that population has heard of the new idea or learned the new ability.”

            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hundredth-monkey_effect

Except with bunnies, it only takes two!

Monkey says “There’s just one of me, Thank you.”

Oh… so cute! Why is it that when rabbits are naughty, it’s hard not to laugh?!

And I can back up that rabbits do talk to each other. As soon as Echo came, she taught Calypso how to get into EVERYTHING. And not just things that she’s been into. They are so innovative, too. They’ve “cracked the code” to getting into their hay and pellets twice each! Horrible little bunnies! Horrible, I say! lol

I want to put a top on it so he can’t jump in anymore but it’s soooo cute when we find him squished into the box eating hay like no other!    When Archie and Gracie met they taught each other stuff but they did it in front of each other and it’s just funny to me that he started doing the same thing Sandy did but she never did it in front of him

Yes sometimes they do the worst thing but you can’t help but laugh….well except when Sandy insist on tasting our newly furniture

hahaha… its so true!  my poor dog gets a tongue lashing when he’s been naughty and the bun gets giggles  no wonder bogart gets upset and tattles on pinky when she jumps on the furniture that he’s not allowed on… or pokes her with his nose when she starts digging at the couch!

ski… thats too cute about the hay box trick!  i think it must be the hundredth monkey theory at work.  lets call it the 3rd bunny theory
