Why do they like being right next to the computer?

Computers do kick out some heat- so that could be why the computer fascination.  Our office cat at work used to sit on top of the credit card machine because the screen got a little warm.  It was goofy to see a 8lb cat sitting on something with at 4×4 screen- “huddling” for warmth.  When she really could not be THAT cold.

Wow! Great job… it looks just like them! Now this may be a silly question, but bear in mind that the craftiest thing I do is knit rectangle things like scarves and dish cloths. lol… What is needle felting?

Amazing! I’m super impressed! As a fellow crafter, I know how much time can be put into stuff like that! I would love to start needle felting but I’m swamped with all the crafts I do already. How long did it take you to make those and what materials do you need to start?

I’ve seen needle felted stuff on etsy.com and they go for big bucks!!!

Needle felting is one of those things that has been around for thousands of years that was recently made popular again with the craft resurgence.
You use wool that has not yet been spun into thread, special needles and some foam (to work on and protect surfaces). It is very inexpensive. However not good for kids – the needles are very sharp! Mini Kay & Winston took about 3 to 4 hours to make.
Here are a couple of photo tutorials that show the process:
