does anyone here know how to make their own hammock? like those ferret ones from SuperPet. my bun doesn't like going upstairs to rest and sleep because it's too small there. and the 1st level really doesn't have any space. so i'm guessing hammocks are good cause they don't take up space on the ground. the only thing is- i can't get my hands on a SuperPet ferret hammock, and i don't really know how to make one of my own.

so does anyone know how to make their own bunny/ferret hammock?

Well, I don't know about ferrets but rabbits really aren't made for hammocks like ferrets so if you are considering one for your rabbit it's not a good idea for them. They aren't as "flexible" as ferrets.

My rabbit Pacey loves his hammock shelf thing. It isn't really like a hammock but I essentially made a corner hammock like you would for a ferret only a lot bigger and instead of letting it slack like a hammock I pulled it tight so it has a little give but it doesn't sag like a ferret hammock does.

He likes it but I am not sure most rabbits would. Marshmallow will get on it once in a blue moon but she would rather hop up on a cardboard box.
