         Hi!

I’ve been neglecting you all lately so I wanted to give an update.

I quit my job.  I hated it so much I just couldn’t do it… it made me miserable and had me crying all the time.  So now I’m unemployed.  But!  The LSAT is next Saturday (the 26th) so I’ve been studying my little no-buns off (get it? cause I don’t have a bunny.  and also because I’ve been genetically cursed with a flat patootie).

So after the LSAT I’m going to start applying to jobs and also picking out and applying to law schools.  In the meantime I study several hours a day, spend the weekends at the U of R with my boyfriend and with my friends, bake a lot (and consequently get fat), and play the Sims 3 (which I feel guilty about doing due to quitting my job..)

        Ta!

        Sibs

Aw Sibley, these things happen. You can’t stay at a job like that… I did for about two years, and I’m not sure it was worth the tears.

You’ll find something, and good luck on the LSAT!

Good luck on the LSAT! I recently quit my job too (well, it wasn’t 100% my choice, but that’s a different story) and I’m loving it. I only have a few days left and I can’t wait to get out of this horrible and stressful place. I’m sure you’ll be much happier in the long run!

Good luck on the LSAT!!! What law schools are you looking at applying to? A good friend of mine just started her second year at GWU and loves it!

                      Thanks guys =)

I’m trying to pick a law school. I’m thinking somewhere around top 30… hopefully somewhere that will give me a lot of financial aid (I don’t want some high-powered job… just enough cash to support the lifestyle I’d like, you know?) I’m looking mostly at NYC, plus a little Washington DC and other NE cities and UC Hastings (because San Fran is gorgeous.. though I hear their summer nights are cold =/) So I haven’t quite figured out where I’m applying yet… I’ll let you guys know when I start my applications though!

Elrohwen, when I put in my 2 weeks notice I was so upset that I hadn’t been rude and just called in saying I quit and was never showing up again (which is a common occurrence in that office) because I wanted out SO BAD.

Good luck on the LSAT. I wrote it a few years ago and the most stressful part was the time constraint-so make sure you study with a stop watch and do lots of practice

I can sympathize-sometimes it’s not the job but the place and people. I don’t like my current job much, but my place of work is great and so are the people. It was worth a pay cut to leave my old job and come back to work here Things will work out
