This is Samantha Bunnykins. My slave, RabbitPam, has been on this whirring machine waaaay too much lately. She sits there and makes little tapping noises and either ignores me, or pets my head with her toes!

So, while she was out I got on line here and am starting my own post.

Tell me what you think of your slave. Tell me who you are, what you think – what bugs you. What you love. What they could do better.

Me and my gang are stuck in a basement with no computer access! Our free-roaming privileges have been curtailed for reasons we do not understand (it’s not like they were explained to us). The basement isn’t so bad but the service is! I periscope and periscope and get no response because my slave, of course, is upstairs! Mops and Deirdra don’t care, naturally, all they wanna do is snuggle. So it’s on me once again, to make sure we are noticed!  — I have ways…

But, ha! Did I ever teach my slave a lesson the other night when I wasn’t feeling well… she was frantic, said the word “GI stasis” and I think she didn’t sleep at all, instead she got the warm water bottle ready just for me, set up my pet taxi by her bed and talking to me and telling the loud-mouth dogs to keep it down… I got tummy massages and syringes of yummy stuff and I think I kinda liked being sick for a moment! I got extra running time so my gas would go away from moving around, and, get this: I got to go out with her too, she said the car ride would make me feel all better (you bet, it did!) so I went to a party of sorts where I had a whole bathroom to explore… now, because of the big scare I caused my slave I am calling the shots around here! — Sammy, don’t get sick now, but maybe you could fake it, it will get your slave’s priorities back in the right order (1st priority: my rabbit, 2nd priority: my rabbit, 3rd priority: my rabbit… — you get the idea!)

I, overall, like my slave. She tastes nice, just like the raisins and pellets she gives me… well, I have one complaint, two…she never gives me enough food and she holds me too much!

Hi, this is Cotton.  I was a pet store bunny and one day a lady came in that did not smell like other bunnies and she wanted to hold me and she gave me a kiss on top of the head.  So I put on the cutuest, most adorable “Take me home now!” look on my face and she of course complied.  I am treated like a diva and princess- but my poor slave is confused and has brought 3 other bunnies home total since crowning me “Queen of my Domain and the World in general”.  

I appreciate worshippers but these other bunnies don’t worship me the way I am accustomed to- and I generally find them a bit annoying.  Although at times it is fun to give them the bunny butt, steal bits of their salad thru the pen, sneaking into their pen while they are out to steal their hay and otherwise boss them around- I do not understand why my slave persists in loving other bunnies.  I know I am cute- but I did not know that I was addictive!

At least now I am only surrounded by boy bunnies- but this latest underling is weird looking.  I think Mom/my slave must have felt sorry for it or something.  He has long ears and the practically trips over them, and super long legs and tail.  Pathetic really compared to my regal beauty,  plush fur, perfect ears and adorable round face and overall compact perfectness.

Hm….isn’t it about salad time now?  So long for now- must go check on salad progress.

Oh, you had to ask. I hope Cotton backs me up on this… — the slaves will tell you it’s a good thing, but it depends. you just have to make sure you stay in charge. Don’t let a new ‘rabbit friend’ take over! If you feel the friend your slave picked for you (yes, they will pick for you, they don’t always take you bunny-dating) is about to run the show, there is only one thing you can do to save your formerly peaceful life: refuse any and all bonding. Email me privately if you need tips… (Admin won’t let me post the really effective tricks… )

Edit: I just browsed through my slave’s postings in this forum and what do I read? She posted somewhere that Deirdra is her favorite! She actually posted this! there. that’s what I mean.. first, they say it’s a friend for you, next thing you know your slave picks a favorite… and your status crumbles. I think it’s time for a round of sicky tummy to remind my slave who is her first and true love!!!!

Thanks, Lint! I’ll be sure to message you about it if it’s needed. Mommy even said that she would block of a portion of my world from me so that the other rabbit could live there. Now I’m worried! Sigh…I guess I’ll just eat a cecal and forget about it.

Oh, I’m sorry to hear that it’s already starting for you: blocking you off from a portion of your world. How wrong is that?
I only hope for you your slave isn’t like mine, I have it really bad. Not only did she force me to bond with two, not one, oh no, two, other rabbits, but then she got all addicted to bonding and invited (drum roll) four strange rabbits into our home for bonding with each other. Sometimes I’ve thought of leaving but there are no rabbit shelters here and at least the hay is good where I am, so I just play sick when I get tired of it all. My slave knows to pamper me then.

edit again: I think I have the touch with computers! I added a photo of myself in here as a siggy, my slave won’t notice… will she?

Hi. jerseygirl here – slave to Jersey and Rumball and all rabbits generally. I know our rabbits are meant to post here but I informed my two about this thread, said it was opportunity to post about me etc. They were like “What do you want? Brownie points?” *sigh*

They then went on to script what they may have posted. Talking me up like they have the best home in the world but then Jersey said that might not be good idea coz other rabbits might read it then want to come live here and then they’d have to share stuff. Rumball agreed.

Then they just got silly and started saying they’d put in heaps personal stuff about me to leave me red faced. After they’d done mocking me, they went back to snoozing and giggling. I’ll endevour again later to try get them to post but don’t hold your breath.

I told them I can’t just ignore the thread, I need to say something. They instructed me that this is their offical response:-

I’d just like to take this time to say, what is up with my human lately?? Not only does she not spend as much time as I’d like her to, giving me head pets and letting me zoom around on the bed (MY territory, thank you, not just some place for you to pass out, slave!), but for some reason she’s been crying and fretting and it’s all about this ‘son’ who’s ‘gone off to college’. So what? Is that any reason to let that big fat black fur-ball with the high and mighty attitude, too short ears and way too long tail that she keeps flossing my nose with curl up on MY territory and eye me with those horrible yellow saucers of hers and every once in awhile…try to…*gasp* POKE me???
Seriously, I must protest! I mean, this pokey thing doesn’t even SMELL like another bunny, much less behave like one! And where exactly is my evening treatums? HM??? Perhaps the black thing wouldn’t mind letting me take a bite out of it’s toes the next time they stray too far!
Why, I’d even consider letting that ‘other’ male bunny come over and be friends…if he doesn’t mind me chewing on his throat….MWAHAHAHA!

Hey every-bunny, this is Winston.

Over all, Kay & I are pleased with our slaves. They did just give us a new room with a big rug for us to play in. We love to run around our slaves feet when they are on the computer.

However, 2 out of the last 3 weekends there has been some crazy old lady here in “our” house. Something about her mom and then his mom. And the crazy old lady’s kept trying to pet me & Kay! What nerve!   They did give us raisins though – that was okay. But, I am still protesting by refusing my papaya tablets (besides, what happened to the old yummy papaya). And who has time for papaya when there is a new room to run the 500 in? 

Well, I got to go snuggle with Kay and take a nap now. See ya!

Hello buns!!

I’m Penny, I’d have to say I’m happy to have Amanda as my mommy. When she first met me she thought I was a girl…I was going to tell her she was wrong but she got me a female friend named Lola….boy did I trick her. There was no way I was going to tell her so she could seperate us. Lately my mommy has been complaining about all the messy-ness on the floor…..UM HELLO, what does she expect??? Lola & I did have three babies and boy oh boy they are M.E.S.S.Y!!! Not me..I’m the perfect one. My cage is always tidy & clean. Does anyone’s mommy have to use this thing so called a carpet cleaner..? THAT THING IS SO LOUD!!! and on top of the loudness it leaves the carpet wet for the WHOLE day so in return I let out a few thumps. Okay enough complaining about my moms cleaning. She really cares about us a lot. My mom can get really emotional when she doesn’t think Lola or I are feeling well. She over reacts. I tried to tell her I’m a big kid and I will tell her if something is wrong. I promised her I wouldn’t hide my sickness. I think all bun’s should tell their moms/slaves when something is wrong.

Today my mom gave the babies my favorite shredding box and guess what…………….they peed in it. Then She opened the closet and got me a new one.

anyway. my mom told me about this website where she comes to talk about me, Lola & the babies A LOT! I had to come see it for myself. Not a bad place. I can now see why she’s addicted.

Mum is about to kick me off the comp she has to leave for an hour for her lunch at the clubhouse . Hmpf  I will have to come back later.

So  my slave has been shoving medicine down my throat and creaming my lip.  3 months of this nonsense.   She has stopped til next month when the techno care arrives. I Heard her talking about it.  OH great.  What next. 

I had a friend but she bit me and drew blood so she lives in the bathroom now.  I being THE Cotton Bun gets the living room.  I get pettings on demand.   I get nanners when I go to bed.  Hmpf no more berries.  But I love nanners so thats ok.

My slave is about to run out of mountain hay.  How dare she.  She spent all this $ at that DR place and didn’t get my mountain hay.  thump thump double thump

I think it is safe for me to come out and play this morning.  I still have to be wary or I get will caught and stuff shoved down my throat.  I am not sure if it is  really over or not.  So I hide in my house this morning  just in case. OH us poor helpless buns. How can we fight this medicine stuff. 

I kicked and squirmed and kicked the syringe across the room last week.  Did that stop my slave.  NOPE

Hi Ruby here. 

yep I am stuck in the bathroom cuz I bit Cottons nose/lip way back in Feb.  I still can’t go out into the living room.  Whats up with that.

Just cuz dumb Cotton will pee and poop all over I can’t go in the living room.  Thump.

I don’t get as much attention as I should being a Queen and all.  Sometimes I get to go in the kitchen.  I am not used to all these feet and legs in there.  I have a cage to hide under in the bathroom . But nothing in the kitchen.  As long as my slave is careful where she puts her feet I am ok. 

I like getting treats tho.  And what is this brushing everyday.   Feels kinda good.  I don’t fuss cuz I know a treat is coming when slave Mum is finished. 

I am going to have to find a way to escape this bathroom.

Sometimes I can escape.  Mum will come and forget to put the baby gate up.  So I sneak off making my way under this big bed thing.

And baby gate whats up with that.  I am not a baby. thump

Rupert here-> I’m surly so I’m not going to type much-tires me out and I’d like to get back into my window sill.

Overall my slave is meddling and bothersome.

First of all she’s insists on picking me up to move me places-I’ve given up trying to scratch her while she carries me, she’s just hell-bent on lifting me and I’m far too lazy to put up a fight.

Secondly, when I’m fuzzy she insists on brushing and brushing and in general bothering me. I can’t physically stomp, but you’d think she’d get the hint with all my foot flicks. My gf can stomp and she brushes her too, so I can only conclude my slave has some sort of mental defect, an extremely low IQ to be blunt.

Further more she’s added three more rabbits to our home since i came along. Obviously I’m enough and she’s to dense to know. The first two added live next door to me. They don’t bother me much, but I would like to get over to their house and check things out-maybe nip them in the butt a little too. Guess what? Slave won’t let me. Surprised? I thought not.

The third rabbit she brought home is clearly as defective as her. It hardly looks like a rabbit, and in fact is extremely ugly with a ridiculously long tail and legs. It’s also stupid and cannot properly foot flick or stomp at slave. I can only conclude that it is, in fact, a rabbit when observing the gusto with which he consumes my food.

Overall I’d give my slave an F- . I could live without her. She does bring treats though…

Hi, I’m Clifford. I’m overwhelmed with my own life. I would like to take this opportunity to make a statement. I lived in a hamster cage for two years and was cuddled lots, the humans weren’t my slaves, but they didn’t know any better. I was taken in by a lady who has a big heart for animals. She said:”Clifford, you can stay here but you must bond with some other rabbits.” I didn’t know what that meant “bond”… so I said “okay”. Then I was taken to a bonding camp, scary place. There I met those other rabbits and I realized I got myself in way over my head… but there was no escape. I pretended to be a stuffed animal for a few weeks after biting one of the other rabbits didn’t work. Things got better for me, two of the rabbits were kind of nice to me. But there was this bigger younger rude-dude bunneh who wanted to kill me, I believe. The human slave at that camp was relentless, and I had to ‘bond’ (I hate that word now) with the evil bun. Well, I’m going home this weekend and it better have been worth it!

Well, hey there! My name is Remy. I was named after the main character of Ratatouille. My slaves sure love that movie…. I like it okay, and I do binkies when they play the theme song. Dang, it’s catchy!

One of my favorite things to do is get in bed with Mommy while she’s reading. I burrow under the covers and treat her legs like an obstacle course! Occasionally I poke my head out and give her arm a kiss to make sure she didn’t forget I was there. I also like to lie in front of her book to get petted. One thing that is annoying, though… is that she never lets me nibble on the book! I truly do not understand this. Books are *so* tasty. If she would just give one a nibble herself, she would realize how great it is! Oh well.

I love to play games with Daddy, especially when I have the major Binky-Zooms. That’s when the living room becomes the Bunny 500!

I am a very happy bun. It’s probably because I don’t have to stay in a cage… I can go almost wherever I want! Also, my slaves rarely pick me up because they know I’m not too fond of it… I reward them by letting them pet me and nuzzle their heads against my fur and kiss me all over whenever they want. This is called positive reinforcement, and it’s very important with slave ownership.

Hello everybun! Max, or Maxwell Edison if you’re fancy, here. I suppose i can take a break from my nap time to say hello. I lived on a farm for my first year of life- I was kind of happy until my old owner brought home a bigger bunny that always bit me she put me up for adoption and a short little city girl college student came to the farm to look at me. well, to make the story short, she brought me to a new home. it was quite a long drive but she played the most wonderful music- some band named after a bug- and even played me the song i was named after! i loved my new home- although it was very pink for a boy like myself to live in. after i was… harassed… by some lady my slave calls a “vet”, I was muuuch calmer. i still love to binky and play and lay down on my slave’s back, though. now i live with another bun, who I knew all along was a boy even though my ignorant slave didn’t. we are best friends, like brothers. we like our time apart sometimes, but we also love to groom and snuggle. The otherbun, Penny, is still getting used to having a slave. He knows she has the treats, but runs from her all the time. Silly bun. I keep trying to teach him that the slave is our friend.

well, i’m feeling a nap coming on, but it was nice to meet everybunny!

Pip, Fiver and I are sneaking some of our slave’s scribble sticks and some paper…perhaps some picket signs will do? (If we can keep ourselves from eating the paper that is.)
Of course, it may be a bit of a stretch, since we don’t have thumbs. 0_o Perhaps some old fashioned bunny butt will get her attention until our demands are met. I’ve tried nipping, but it doesn’t seem to phase her in the least.
And what are these delicious ‘books’ you speak of? Are they better than blueberries or bananas?

Remy here again. The day I arrived, my slaves welcomed and embraced their new bunny overlord. I try to rule with a firm, but gentle, hand.

Just jumped on Mommy in bed. Yeah, sure, I know it’s 4:30 in the morning…. but sometimes you gotta run surprise inspections to make sure the slaves are doing what they’re supposed to.

Everything seems to be in order.

Hi there! I’m Monkey, the bestest, cutest, most adorable bunny ever. I heard something about someone calling me “her majesty” on here, sounds good! I’ll make my slave call em that from now on. She’s a decent slave, feeds me all my favorites, carrot tops, romaine lettuce, and OMG the raisins! *does the happy raisin dance* Raisins are to DIE for. She doesn’t pick me up much, thank GOD, I hate that! She had to when my eyes were all funny, it was scary at first, I had no idea what was going on But my slave-mommy made me all better, and gave me treats when i didn’t bite her. But boy, was it tempting! I did a couple times, but only when she had woken me up to give me eye drops. Ick.

I need to tell her to let me roam aound freely, I hear alot of the bunnies on here do that. If I promise not to chew, do you think she’d let me out?

First, while I am certain you are cute and adorable – what bunny isn’t – get over yourself! The most ever??? Did you SEE my picture?

That said, let’s be friends anyway. If you promise your slave you won’t chew in exchange for freedom, I’m afraid she just won’t believe you. It takes a long time for slaves to learn to trust you. Take mine this week – she NEVER let’s me go in her bedroom. Something about not getting me to come out from under the bed. Well, I check the door every morning, and last week and this morning IT WAS OPEN! She kept saying Sunday and Vacation, and I went in. She just sat on her really high bed and drank coffee while I did 500s. Then she put a box with a blanket on it next to the bed and I dug my way to China. Soooo much fun. I woke her up by chewing on the bars at 7AM as usual since it should be a work day, and she let me out, but then the new playtime. THEN, she cleaned my whole house and litter box and food dishes and I am just waiting to have brunch after my nap.

So you see, with time and patience, you can get your slave to let you do what you want when you want it.

Remy, you really hit the jackpot it seems when you picked your slaves. I still believe us mini rexes have the advantage. We are just too beautiful to be neglected! Upon seeing me, people go:” oooohhh!!! –aaahhh! Can I touch it??” — *Sigh*. I don’t like being referred to as “it” or being toched but, alas! It’s a mini rex’ life!

Yes, I agree. I have trained my human slaves not to pick me up except when I need my nails clipped. That’s only every few weeks, so I tolerate it.

But you have to be careful… give them an inch, and they’ll take a mile.

I was very excited this morning when Mommy woke up. She looked pretty tired… perhaps because of my surprise 4:30 a.m. inspection. These things have to happen, though, for the sake of proper slave supervision. I decided to do a few binkies and head tosses to make her feel better.

Hi, everyone! My name is Calypso and my best friend’s name is Echo. I have to say, aside from a few bad habits, my slave (I call her Mommy) is pretty decent. (Echo has just told me that I should specify that I think Mom is okay. Echo still hasn’t made up her mind about that one.)

Here are the good things about my mom:

Every morning, she gives me two baby carrots. I LOVE baby carrots! Then, I binky around on the couch while she eats breakfast. If I’m extra cute, I can sometimes get a raisin, too!

She always knows the right place to scratch on my head. I try to play it cool, but sometimes I just melt when she pulls on my ears.

She gave me a “jellyfish” toy that has wonderful fun strands hanging down that I can run through or chill out under. (Seriously, if you don’t have a jellyfish, you MUST ask your mom for one!)

Also, I play this super-fun game with my mommy where I try to run along underneath her. It’s soooo fun, because she falls over EVERY time trying not to step on me. I have to say, it’s the best and most entertaining trick I’ve been able to teach her!

The not so good things about my mom:

She sometimes forgets that I have LEGS and want to use them. Not so much lately, but I think in the beginning, she wished I was an invalid so that she could carry me around everywhere. (She respects my legs now.)

She is terrifying! Seriously. Not all the time, but sometimes, she’ll walk into the room I’m in without ANY warning at all!! Of course, I can’t help but run for my life! Also, sometimes she just DOESN’T DO ANYTHING. I’m sure you know what I mean… all of a sudden, your slave doesn’t do anything and you run off like a shot to safety. Right?

Oh, and Echo said to tell you that there’s something just not right about my mom… she doesn’t know why, but she just doesn’t trust her. (I think that mom is trustworthy most of the time. But… Echo is just a baby and will learn in time that she’s got it pretty good.)

So… yeah…my slave is okay, for the most part. She worships me as she should, so I have no issue with her.

Hey, Stormy here. As the eldest bun here, I get to go first. I’ll just start off by saying “I’m the smallest critter here but I rule the house”. That’s how it’s always been and that’s how it’s always gonna be. It’s great that my bunny slave (she refers to herself as “the Momma”) acknowledges and respects this. She did bring home two other rabbits to share “my” room but they don’t steal my show. I’m the freakin Mini-Rex! A Harlequin Mini-Rex at that! My only problem with “the Momma” is that she is always grooming me, it really cramps my style, and I get cranky. I’ve trained her very well though, whenever I feel inclined I chew on the bars of my ceiling and she runs to get me a treat! What a sucker. I love how us bunnies are pretty much her life though and she always goes out of her way to please us, no matter how much time or money that requires!!!

Hello, this Bindi Loo. I’m a happy little guy. I love how I get treats all the time because Mom thinks I look sad (of course, she’s crazy…I always look sad, that’s just how my face is but I’m not gonna say anything). I love when Mom takes me out and we spend time together on the couch. When she’s doing cross-stitch or reading though I often have to nudge or tickle her with my whiskers so she remembers to pet me. The only thing she does I hate is grooming and nail clipping. It’s the worst thing in the world!!!! But I put up with it, because she just built me a large condo full of cool stuff (including a diggy box…digging is one of my favorite things!!!)

Hi, Olivia here. I will start by saying “I’m the Princess”. I’m the only girl bunny and I tend to be a little spoiled. This fits my diva personality very well. I think Mom is great. She rescued me from a terrible situation at a pet store where I had a bad eye infection and was in a tiny glass tank. I love how Mom pampers me and fills my cage with luxuries like blankets and stuffed bears. I wish she would stop touching my stuff though. I growl and honk and she just doesn’t get it! I think most of all, I love when she rubs the bridge of my nose (upward direction only please!) I just can’t get enough of that. She treats me the way all little girl bunnies ought to be treated and I love it!

Hi Ruby again.   You know what gets me.   When my Mum takes me out which is rarely cuz she doens’t want to get caught and have to part with me. 

Well when we went out twice I tell you twice  people wanted to take pics of me.   Yet when my Mum put my pics in a calendar contest  I didn’t get picked.   Whats up with that?  I am beautiful  I am The Lady Ruby. 

I wonder maybe my Mum picked bad pictures of me.   Gosh I hope not cuz all my pics are great.  Hmpf.

I got my brushing my supper and a nice treat.   Mint.  I love mint.  They have a mint tree 2 of them.   YEs it is really a bush not a vine.  A  lady from trinidad gave it to Da. Yum.

Sammykins, Monkey here again. I know I’m the cutest, most adorablest bunny ever, cuz my slave-Mommy tells me so. She tells me every time I do my raisin dance, and my racecar bunny. Is my slave mommy lying to me?

Oh, sorry little Monkey, I understand now. No, your slave mommy isn’t lying. All our slaves think that we are the cutest most adorable bunnies ever. They believe it and so should you. They will admire other slave’s bunnies, but secretly they KNOW that their’s is the best.

Never dispute that. Just eat the treats and accept the pets.
