        Hello all,

Hope you all have been good.  I’ve been quite busy recently and I’ve been doing some crafty things.  I just finished a quillow and I thought I’d share it with you all since it has bunnies on it!  I’ve actually done 3 recently but I figured people would enjoy the one with the bunnies the most .

Here is the quillow folded up in pillow form:

        Here is the quilt/blanket form:

Here is an up close of the fabric:

The fabric is imported from Japan.  The bunnies are wearing Japanese clothing.

Really beautiful! I wish I could sew and was crafty. I admire people who can do this, but I just don’t have the ability. Thank you for sharing.

Miyuki, this is a very beautiful work you did. I love that the buns are wearing kimonos on the print. Too cute.

Wow, that’s a clever idea! Good for sleepovers for young children I bet. I love the fabric, is it very hard to find since it’s imported? How long does it take to make each one?
I make tie blankets for my nieces and nephews. It is not very detailed, but it’s hard work on my hands because they are getting too old to want to hold scissors for long periods of time. Tie blankets are all cutting for the first part.
My boy wants to go to a Halloween party at his dorm as the grim reaper, so now I’m going to have to make or alter a cloak for him….this should be fun! 0_o

the clothes all the bunnies wearing are traditional japanese style.

                          Thanks again everyone!

lancy – I just wanted to say that the bun in your avatar seems very disapproving!

MimzMum – I don’t think it is that hard to find… random fabric stores probably have it but expect it to cost more per a yard than the “normal” fabrics! It doesn’t take too long to make, it just takes me at least a week because I only do a little bit at a time. If I stopped getting distracted it would be possible to do it all in a day! As far as cutting goes its simple. Just 2 yards and 19 x 18 inch square of each fabric and quilt batting.
Oh and good luck with the grim reaper costume… hopefully you could alter rather than make one from scratch! If you have any type of thrift stores or something they might have something you can start with .
