        …what are you  BBer’s interests/hobbies?

Myself, I also enjoy ballet dance, gardening/botany, sewing, and cooking. I thought it would be interesting to see what else you guys like besides rabbits.

I love to read (especially Nicholas Sparks and now re-reading the Twilight saga). I also enjoy listening to music (9-9-09 was the best day ever- Beatles catalog released as well as BEATLES Rockband). Spending time with family and friends is also important to me.

                  Katie, what are you studying?

I’m a full time student as well… majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Spanish.

I have next to no free time, but when I do, I enjoy running, reading (Gone with the Wind is my all time fave, read it cover to cover 4 times and just started it again), watching tv (current favs: In Plain Sight on USA, Royal Pains also on USA, Drop Dead Diva on Lifetime, and House MD, oh and anything on the Food Network Nighttime), and riding horses (been riding since I was 4).

I’m also a full time student, majoring in actuarial math. and i work part time so i have little to no time.
i guess i’d say my hobbies are video gaming too, although my world of warcraft and runescape prescription ran out. lately i like to cook, but only when i have the money or when i’m not feeling too lazy.

I’m a renfaire musician and sea chanty singer, and I play pennywhistle and bodhran plus a sitt;e bowed psaltery, guitar and autoharp.  I design and build historical costumes and am now getting into steampunk.  I’m a voracious reader – fantasy and SF as well as history.  I’m president of my condo board and I work as an office manager at a small Loop real estate firm but I’m actively interviewing for a less annoying place to work.

I myself LOVE animals! I am thinking about going to school to become a Vet Tech too. I love the computer, BB forum, my chinchilla forum and Facebook! I am a typical girl, I love shoes and handbags, a little too much, but oh well! Also a new hobby of mine is biking, which I haven’t been doing too much lately I also enjoy watching movies with my boyfriend, hanging out with family and friends and going for ATV rides too. Somewhere between all that stuff, I have time to spend with all of my fur babies, I would love to have a house full of bunnies and chinchillas Both are amazing animals and I love them all soooo much!

I’m just getting out of a job that required me to travel every week, so for the past few years I’ve kind of pushed hobbies to the side! I’m very excited to have a few months to really get back to the things that I love before starting another job.

I love horseback riding and just got back into it (though now that I’m out of work I need to hold off for a bit so we can save the money) after a 7 year break. It’s not easy re-learning something like that as an adult and I’ve fallen off a few times already, but I can’t get enough.

I love all animals, but especially love dogs (in addition to my horse and bunny obsessions). I hope to get back into volunteering at the animal shelter walking dogs now that I have time.

I love to read, and always have a book going (mostly 19th century British and early-mid 20th century American and British fiction). I love hiking (and camping sometimes – when the weather is nice :-P). I love trivia – watching Jeopardy, playing Trivial Pursuit, going to local pub trivia, etc.

I played cello for many years and will try to pick it up again when I leave my job and need things to occupy my time. I’ve been saying I would play again for a few years now and I’m excited to have the time.

Barbie – My husband has a degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering from WPI. Since I have an art background, I thought we would have nothing in common. Little did I know . . .
Sgregory – actuarial math sounds cool. The older I get the more I am interested in Math. I just got a book called “The Mystery of the Aleph” about Georg Cantor – can’t wait to read it.
Wendyzski – I recently read a book called “A Dirty Job”. It’s a fantasy book, one of the characters designs historical costumes. It is really funny but, uses the “F” word a lot – I know that can turn some people off.

As for me: I love making things with my hands: cooking, embroiderer, needle felting. I do photography and some design work. I like to work out: running, weights, hiking. And I am a Netflix & NPR junkie!

i am an education major- specifically high school social studies (history, economics, government, sociology, psychology).

and sage, i’m taking a philosophy of mathematics course this semester and we just read a bunch of Cantor’s stuff. He’s hard to understand because he’s so vague (to me, at least!). but i did get really good at drawing an Aleph

Hey, everybody. Besides slaving for my ungrateful little furrballs, I spend most of my time doing school work or working away at my nursing placements. I’m interested in anything medical that a lot of people find gross. lol.

When I find the time, I’m a pretty big bookworm. One of my favourites is The Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M. Auel. I also used to really be into theatre, but I haven’t been as involved these past few years.

I also love cooking and baking, and I make a mean peanut butter cheesecake.

I also love swimming and am trying to make myself love going to the gym, but that’s a work in progress.

I don’t have cable anymore, but I used to watch Jeopardy every night. I also love random trivia and most boardgames.

so i lied a little bit. i’m a big movie buff (thrillers or documentaries) and i do love to read. for school i’m reading two novels, one called ‘galileo’s daughter’ and another called ‘oh! pioneers’ and for leisure i am reading a book called ‘thing of beauty’. it’s a biography of the famous 70s model Gia Carangi. She was the first famous woman to contract HIV. all three books are wonderful.

I have also experienced duck hunting once before (camo, orange hat & all..lol)….that was an awful idea….I held the duck & almost cried. I’m not a big reader but I love to watch movies (lifetime) i also work out when I have the time. && I can’t forget to say that I love binkybunny.com & I spend wayyy to much time on that website! lol.
