As I was getting ready to do the second daily cleaning of the bunny habitats last night, I noticed I had forgotten something…
Pip’s litter box that I’d cleaned out and replaced that morning was still sitting on top of the pen bars. She’d gone without it all day!
Now to her credit, she only left a pile of poops on the 40 winks mattress closest to where her box would normally be. But I was spanking myself for not having that in there all day because I pulled all her hay out to see if she’d peed on any of that and everything in the pen was totally dry! So I worried most of the night that she was blocked up and perhaps COULDN’T pee because she was so well trained that she’d held it to the point of illness.
This morning however, a nice mound of soaked litter, so all is well.
I felt so bad for her though. I must’ve gone in and out of the bunny room a hundred times yesterday and I can just imagine her thinking each time, “Hello! Aren’t you forgetting something?”
I was so busy yesterday madly going through my bank papers trying to find a lost check register, (which is still missing, so I’m still burrowing through things until I find it), that I’d rushed out after getting the three of them cleaned up and had neglected to check that I’d replaced all their usual daily things afterwards. >.<
I feel so stupid. This is worse than drinking vinegar by accident.
Today however, was VERY careful to ‘checklist’ all my bunny chores. Not doing THAT again.
Anyway, some piccies taken of her majesty recently. LOVE the disapprovin’ bunneh leeps!
(I was hoping the kale would turn her face greener than it did, no such luck!)

They’re lovely shots MM. She’s a champion for holding on til she got her box. I take a box out of the corner for a minute and I’ll find pee there when I return.
