         New gift for my bunnies!!

I just got one tonight from walmart.  My boyfriend  put holes & Zip tied little two story box thingy with the holes to the bars to make it more sturdy & he put a piece of thick cardboard in the middle piece of the red thing with the holes. He also ziptied the nets that you see the cats laying on to the bars to make the nets tighter.  Its  not very sturdy when you first put it together but once he added the zip ties it worked as a lot of extra support.  I haven’t put it in the room with them yet.. does anyone have one of these? do you think they might like it??

Cool! I think they will. It has enough entry/exit points for them to go thru. They may be tentative at first but I can imagine rabbits jumping all over it. Keep us posted.

My cats had something similiar but taller- and the cats liked it.  One of my cats is fat- 17 lbs- and another was a younger kitten- so between the 2 of them- the extra weight and all the crazy biting and kicking I had to throw it away after about a year.  The seams were letting go and the kitten put a couple of holes thru the material.

If I was at all crafty I would have made a new and improved snazzy new cover for it- but I don’t even like to sew a button on a shirt- so that was out of the question.

The bunnies- Cotton and Penny would go in the lower cube but they never tried to get into the higher levels of the model I had.

Just make sure your buns aren’t eating the fabric. We had a “ferret tunnel” for our bunny for awhile, but she was chewing holes through the fabric and i got worried it was bad for her! She loved loved loved the tunnel though!!

Looks fun, should keep them busy!!!

haha. the first thing penny did was go into the bottom cube and went potty. silly penny ( i’m sure it’s my fault, i put the play center in the corner where their litter box is) He did explore it a little bit. I think they forget about it. Lola hasn’t really noticed it yet.

bunnymum – the cubes are actually connected but you can buy the individual cubes seperate. They were around $5 at our walmart here.
