  I have pictures to prove it! I toke both Hammer and Lucy outside on our deck for their first outdoor visit. Hammer was curious, but Lucy was so scared. They switched roles completely. But Lucy, the bun that wants no human contact whatsoever and hated my guts from the beginning, got cuddly with me. She let me pet her and talk to her for around 20 minutes. Whenever I moved her away to go play she came hopping right back. So I was in shock for 20 minutes while I had a Lucy cuddle bun and of course toke pictures to document the miracle. After 20 minutes the spell broke and she realized I was petting her, gave me an aweful bite on my leg and hopped away to play. But I dont count that lol, all in all it was a success.

  Lucy sure is a tough cookie isn’t she? most bunnies come around when they realize that you are the source of pellets, hay, treats and lovin- but not Lucy.
  
  And bunny bites HURT and usually leave a huge bruise! I have only been bitten 3 times- and all by Cotton- twice was during bonding and she did not mean to get me- and the 3rd time she was on my lap and lunged and bit my neck and left a huge bruise that looked like a hickey!

  KK- Car ride, yea right! Thats a confined space where I couldnt get away from her attack. lol ; )
  Katnip- Only 3 times?! Your lucky, or maybe thats normal and Lucy just loves to hurt me. She has nipped about 100 times, but left bruises maybe 15 times and gotten a bit of blood a few times. She needs a correctional school. Lucy has lots a disapproving pictures, sounds like a project for the day lol.

  That’s great that she came around, at least for a little while. I agree Re: Disapproving Rabbit submission. That was what I automatically thought when I saw that pic!

  Naughty thing to nip you like that! Don’t feel bad though, after two years I can still get teeth from Mimzy if I mess with his space.

  I got bit by my Monkey when giving her the eye drops today, little goober. >.< I got a nice itty bitty bruise on my leg now. No raisin for her tonite!

  I tried to send it to disapproving rabbits but yahoo just upgraded and the darn attach files thing is being weird. And im sad to report since our “bonding break through” about a week ago Lucy has not shown any indication that she remembers she loves me. *sigh*

  She does look happy in the picture!! I have two buns. Baileys, the male is very cuddly. He lets me, or demands rather, that I pet him and groom him and purrs relentlessly while I am at it. But Lemoncello, the female, will have none of that whatsoever. She will only come to me if I have slices of apple in my hand, and hop swiftly away the second she realizes I am petting her. I love her all the same and they absolutely adore each other, so she might be a little jealous…

  Mine don’t cuddle either really and i get bunny bites if i leave my toes out ! Must look like papaya treats
