I am going to have to eventually replace my carpet and am thinking about getting those laminate floors that look like hardwood. I was wondering if anyone has those and what happens if the bunny pees on them? Occasionaly Tempe will have an accident and I wondered does it stain the floors bad????

i don’t have them, but if it’s the laminate kind and not the real wood, it should clean very easily. i had them in my old house and spilled all sorts of things on them and it was never a problem. i’m not sure, though. i know they’re made to be pretty stain-resistant.. -shrug-

I have this and I LOVE it. It is actually what the bottom of my rabbit cages are made out of just because it’s so easy to clean. When one of the dogs or cats throws up or has any other sort of accident it’s so much easier to clean than carpet. In fact, before we got the laminate we replaced our carpet with an off white and I got sick and that stain never came out. Laminate doesn’t stain as far as I’ve noticed. We did get the thickest stuff that was offered at the time. You have to put protectors on the bottom of all your furniture, but they’re cheap. Moving furniture does tend to be easier as well. We only have one scratch and it’s in the kitchen because my dad moved the fridge and something went wrong.

My mom recently replaced all her floorign with laminate, and with cats dogs and the occasional racoon running through, the floor stays pretty dang stain resistant.

I had those a few years ago. While they were easy to keep clean, neither of my old dogs – 12 year old Husky’s – could walk on the floors. We had trails of rug runners every where so the dogs could get around.

My boyfriend has laminate hard wood floors in his house. When we visit Samson LOVES running up and down his hallway and powersliding into the fridge. Its pretty darn humerous to watch!! Ive heard that some buns hate slippery floors, and it is pretty slippery, so I think it would depend if your bunny liked or hated that. It is really easy to clean and maintain.
