  Gizmo had his first vet check-up yesterday, he is very healthy and he seemed to like his vet, even after the probing and checking his teeth she still got a bunny lick.
  
  there’s only one issue!
  
  my vet is about 95% sure that my little man is actually a girl..
  
  She said its really hard to tell with young bunnies because nothing has dropped yet.
  
  So we may not find out for sure until it’s time for the spay/neuter. poor little bun will be so confused at that point.

  You’d be surprised how often that happens! I think it bothers us ‘bunny slaves’ more then the bunnies though

  I named my baby Bugsy after the Vegas mob guy because of “his” bravery with my cats.
  Then the sraying confermed the “him” for me.
  Boy was I surprised when the vet chuckled & said, “But I don’t know how to neuter a GIRL bunny!!!”
  I even made her look again! LOL
  
  Edit to add:
  
  At least Bugsy & Gizmo are relatively non gender names. We could have picked Leon or Spike. LOL

  It’s okay. This does happen often, even breeders, experienced bunny people and vets can make mistakes with very young bunnies…
  
  Petstores sexing rabbits?! FORGET ABOUT IT! I think petstores are WRONG more often than they’re RIGHT!!!
  
  And your bun doesn’t care if you call him a boy, a girl, a mushroom… they don’t mind at all… ;o)

  That is “him”, he’s growing so fast though he’s bigger than that now!
  
  he shouldn’t be allowed to grow that fast!
  
  This is a more recent shot of him in his favorite spot!
  
  he’s almost 12 weeks old now.

  we’ve just started him on parsley!
  
  it’s like bunny nip.
  
  for fun we scattered a leaves across the house during his free play and he chased the little line all over the house binkying the whole way.

  I gave Monkey her first taste of parsley tonite. She totally ignored it. Much prefers her lettuce or carrot tops. Weirdo.
