Okay, there are still some glitches to be worked out, but you can now go ahead and add information and photos to your profiles.

TWO IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE: 

1. Signatures are NOT working in "My Profile".    You have to go to "Forum Settings" (toward the top of of the forum on the light green bar, on the right hand side)

2. If you see a section where you can form a "Group"  - IGNORE IT.   That's just in test mode right now and is not workng properly.

It may take me a couple of days to respond if I don't know the answer because i will have to ask questions from the tech guru nerd man and get back to you.  IF you dont' get an answer, then please do email me via the forum and remind me that I still need to answer your question in the forum.

I tried adding Forum Leader to my name - kind of goofy.

And I hit the "join group" button yesterday just to see what happened. oops. sorry.

Sorry for the double post, BB...but has the avatar change feature been shut down? I've tried a few times now to change mine, and even with the right size pic and logging out and back in and everything, my avvy hasn't switched out no matter how many times I upload it.
Maybe I'm trying from the wrong section? I went to both My Profile (edit) and Forum Settings and neither seems to work.

Mimz - It's working but having it be located in two different places may be causing conflicts. So clear the one out of of the forum settings, then go back and just change it via "My Profile".

RabbitPam - No worries. I have been trying to figure out where the section is for admins to add the "caption" for Forum Leaders. It used to be there but has disappeared in these last updates. It has to still exist because the other forum leaders have that title. I am so sorry it's taken so long for us to figure it out! No worries about the join group either - it's just testing anyway, so it'll all disappear.

Well I went to forums settings and profile and I can't see any text to remove to clear the avatar. The Browse and upload bars are empty. Is there something I should be looking for that I'm not seeing?
Hmmm...Maybe I'll just wait to change anything until the board is all sussed. Don't need to put more work on you guys. You're doing a powerful good job, btw! It sure looks neat in here!

Just wondering with all the updates, is there a way to rearrange the pictures in your albums without deleting them and re-uploading?

Edit: Another thing I noticed, once you set your album cover, it cant be changed, or to go back and add captions.

 Mimz - You're right! Once you upload a photo, there is no way to delete, you just have  reload another photo.  So sorry, I didn't recognize that.   Just so used to uploading never noticed the lack of that feature!

Anyway, we fixed the problem - too long and complicated and boring to explain, but it was definitely on our side.  So you can now upload your avatar, but it will only work from  "My Profile".   We can't delete the avatar entry option in Forum Settings because it also messes with the signatures for some odd reason.  A technical spiderweb of sorts. That will be fixed in the next  "fixit" update. (soon)

 MrMac - I'm sorry it doesn't allow you to rearrange. I don't like that we do not have that option so I will add that to the "request" list for our software provider.

I went into My Profile by chance today, hadn't seen this post yet. Yup. Works great from there. ^_^ My imp is now uploaded!

never mind, BB, I guess the friends feature is active now!

I have been trying to upload pics into my albums and they wont show up? I go to add files, select the ones I want, click upload then when it goes to the page where you can add captions and save, I click save and they dont show up in the album?

 

Edit--- Nevermind!!!! Answered my own question!

Am I just dumb?

How do I read what other people have posted in their profiles? If I click on mine I see tabs - Activity 1st,  then Me and My Bunny. If I click on Me and My Bunny, I can read my own profile. I've clicked on quite a few members names (posts) including BinkyBunny & I've also tried to go through the members list. No one else seems to have a Me and My Bunny tab & I can't click on the one that is the top header.

Furface - No you are not dumb. There IS something wrong with the profiles. I figured people just had entered into their bio yet (including me) and so that's why I wasn't seeing it, but then yesterday someone said that had written up a bio and not everyone could see it. Our admin settings show that everyone registered SHOULD see it, but I just tested, retested, retested etc, and it's definitely not working correctly.

We'll be working on this, I"ll post when it's fixed.

OK, so it's not just me, I thought maybe my settings were screwy.
