        Pinkerton

        From http://www.mybunny.org :

”THE SIX DWARFS NEED YOUR HELP
Six adorable white dwarf bunnies rescued from a neglectful situation reed your help. They range in age from four to six years old, are all severely underweight and undernourished, are seriously lacking in muscle tone (they had never had space to run and play until Saturday, March 28th, when they came to Zooh Corner), and all have various medical issues that must be dealt with. All of the bunnies have fairly serious eye issues, as you can see in this photo of sweet little squinty Pinkerton. And once they are all healthy enough, they will all need to be spayed or neutered.

Please help us cover their medical costs, which are already mounting up! Please mark your check “The Six Dwarfs.” THANK YOU! We also need immediate help with foster or permanent homes for these little darlings. Their age and color will make them hard to adopt out, plus, they really deserve a wonderful life–at last–don’t you think? If you can foster or adopt – there is a pair, a trio and a single – please email Alexandra Logsdon.”

I just started volunteering at Zooh Corner a month ago, and since I began volunteering, 7 new rabbits have allready arrived (these 6 dwarfs, and a dutch rabbit that was abandoned on Easter, ironically enough ).

When I last volunteered, only one of the rabbits, Tucker, was at the shelter (I think the other ones were at the vet or something). He is even cuter than the pictures below suggest.

As stated above, they all have eye issues, and are almost constantly squinting: they think they were kept in a shed or some other dark room all their life, and now their eyes are sensitive to light.

And though they look like cute baby rabbits, they are 4-6 years old. They definitely need a good home now after going for so long without one

So please, if you live near Los Angeles, adopt or foster one or more of these rabbits

I hope they find loving homes – they look very sweet. They certainly deserve a better life and it looks like they will now get it – please keep us updated on them.
