Welcome!!! Now you're entered into the drawing twice!

Congrats on your new bunny!  What color is she?

As far as your questions go.  They are good ones, and are things others should know about too, so I reposted your questions down in the behavior section so it wouldn't get lost here.

Hello Rabbit Lovers!

I've been "haunting" BinkyBunny.com for about a week now before registering today. Heehee ..

Anyway, I'm from Singapore but currently in Australia studying. I have 4 rabbits - BitBit (hence, my username and trademark among other rabbity friends), MaoMao, Dash and Socks. BitBit is an orange NZW-Lop cross while MaoMao is a Dutch-Chinchilla. Dash and Socks are their accidental offsprings. Dash is agouti-coloured and Socks is chinchilla-coloured. Honestly, I cannot be bothered about their heritage or whether they have "good genes" or not. They are just the lovable darlings I love and cherish as themselves. No bunny could ever take their places.

Having said that, I have also fostered 3 rescued rabbits - Stitch, Tryne and Kyler - before they were successfully adopted to kind and deserving families. They would, too, always be special in my heart.

While I'm studying in Aussie now, my 4 darlings are being taken care of by a friend who has more, if not equal, passion about rabbits and she loves my rabbits too. I miss them. Miss hugging them. Miss kissing them. Miss seeing their devilish-behind-innocent eyes. I'd reckon they aren't missing me as much though. Haha .. they're having a lot of fun with my friend's own rabbits.

Last but not least, I want to include a kitty that I took home and he diets with my rabbits - eating pellets and hay every morning.  Odd little fellow~

Right. That's all about me.

Love,

Bitbitster

If I were a Bunny I'd HOP HOP HOP.
If I were a BitBit I'd be BLUR BLUR BLUR.
If I were a MaoMao I'd be VAIN VAIN VAIN.
If I were a Dash I'd be PROUD PROUD PROUD.
If I were a Socks I'd be BABY BABY BABY.
If I were a YinYang I'd MEOW MEOW MEOW O.O

Welcome to the forum! Awe what a cute little fur family you have! Bunnies and kitties get along so great sometimes don't they? I can't imagine leaving my two for such a long time. It would just break my heart so I can't imagine how you feel. I'm so glad that you posted!

Oh yes and congrats! You are now entered into the contest to win a goody basket for your bunnies! YAY! A present from mummy!

Well, I am glad your haunting got you here to the forum.  WELCOME!

How long are you away from your bunnies?  What a kind heart you have, and a strong one too.  The only time I fostered, I ended up adopting.    So I realized,  I couldn't foster because I get too attached.  It's wonderful that your foster bunnies a found loving homes.   Good for you!

I feel the same way you do about "good genes", doesn't matter to me at all!

Have a good day, and I am glad you stopped haunting and came out of the shadows.

Have a good day!

Hi I just signed up. I found this site on Craigslist and thought I'd check it out.

I have a small farm out in east county San Diego.

I have a Pot belly Pig named Kikichio.

 A pitbull named Bella Rosso.

7 rabbits SumerIsle (hotot buck 2 years), Gomi (lionhead harliquin does 6 months), Oni Guru (lionhead satin cross black sport), Arbez (Sable Magpie lionhead doe 3 years), Hoshiro (Sable Point lionhead buck 1.5 years), and Snake Food (SF for short, Chestnut satin cross, hates everyone.)

Not to mention chickens and cats.

I've been rasing rabbits for over 12 years. I really like them. I started with Mini Rex, Californians, and New Zelands (white and black). I have also had holland lops. The lionheads have been my favorite so far because of their great personalities and really cute look.

I'm looking forward to discussing rabbit care and health with you all.

Welcome Christine!  Now you're entered into the drawing for the bunny goodies!

Jack and I (as well as Rucy and Bailey) are so happy to have you here!  Jack will be back on myspace.com tomorrow actually! (er hopefully)    I have had to leave town for a family deal, so his "typist" has been MIA while the pet sitter makes sure he's taken care of.

You're fuzzy family sounds adorable!    How is Ludwig?   I know he is working towards his  senior citizen status so I was just wondering what kind of energy level he has and what differences, if any, you see in him at this age at this point.

Hi! I'm Alexa, and just a week ago became the new mommy of an 8 week old English Angora. Her name is Lola, and she is a white bundle of joy! I am new to the bunny world and always looking for help and some friends along the way!

Welcome Alexa!  We're happy to have you here.  And that's what were here for  - to share stories and help each other out.  Plus sharing all the  wonderful joys that rabbits bring and commiserating about all the naughty stuff they get into helps too!

Angora's are quite a bit of work, but so worth it!  Absolutely gorgeous!  What made you decide on Lola?  Love at first site?

Did anyone tell you about what may happen when she reaches 3 - 4 months.  The hormone thing?  What changes to expect in her behavior?

Lola was definatly love at first site There was just something about her, and I have a lot of time on my hands for grooming, so I decided we would do okay together! I have heard that she will will hit puberty, and go slightly bonkers on me.. hehe. I am going to have to deal with that soon, and I most likely will get her spayed when that time comes!

wow, i am pretty late too. Cookie got here before me. =P i have two female bunnies that were spaded on April 24, 2006. both are from the same litter and to this day is about 14 weeks old. they are both adorable holland lops. Mochi is white and brown with a little bit of black in her fur and on the tips of her ears. she is a sweety pie that loves to play around and runs around my house exploring, her favorite place in under the living room futon. the thinks its a maze with all the boxes down there. she likes to watch u eat too. Emo is black with gray paws and a gray area on the sides of her neck. she is in timeout right now for picking fights with mochi and niping her in many places. however, she is only allowed out in the pen under my constant supervision becuase she is always trying to escape and she loves to poo everywhere still. her hormones should calm down a bit later and her true personality will show, she is actually pretty layed back and loves to lounge about. if it was her choice, she would sleep right next to the buda shrine on the floor. not sure why she likes to sit next to it but she does, probably because it is pretty and shiny. =P
my name is Carolyn and my precious babies are 2 holland lops named Mochi and Emo and a uhh uhh not sure what he is.... but his name is Moogle

Introduuuucccccinnnng.... Millivanilli, tortoiseshell mini lop known as Milli for short.  She is 3 months old and very darling. She is not very good at playing with any toys but is getting better. She lays about the place and then delights us with her binkies and racing speed, we even get the occasional "death"flop thrown in. She nudges and shoves for cuddles and will even gently nip if you ignore the nudges. She has managed the litterbox training without a problem. Her cage is in the lounge and she is let out whenever I am home. My next project is a playpen so that she can be out during the day when I am at work as well. So far I think she is really happy with us and I hope we can keep her that way.

PS. on the human front I am very happy to be here and look forward to having interaction with all the other bunnies humans I will meet here.
