Here is a link to the Sacramento House Rabbit Society – I would contact them and ask:

              http://www.allearssac.org/

Here’s a rescue in Stockton, CA as well:

              http://www.harvesthomeanimal.org/

I would email them and ask if they know of a resaonably priced vet to get your rabbit neutered at.

Also try Sacremento SPCA. Their program does rabbits and is available to anyone.

After your rabbit is neutered, be sure to wait at least one month before getting a female rabbit. Males can still impregnate a rabbit for a certain time after being neutered. However, if you look at adoption an already spayed female rabbit, you don’t have to worry. : )

Is there any way to keep your rabbit indoors after the procedure? You will want him to be where you can keep a close eye on him for a couple days at the very least, and keep him warm and comfortable during his recovery.

Hosue is definitely preferred. We are a house bunny forum after all

Bunnies can be very social animals, and thrive in an indoor enviroment, just like cats and dogs! Their little personalities blossom when kept indoors where they can be around you and not afraid of predators outside.

The page I put a link to in my other post is from The House Rabbit Society but those clinics are for anyone with a rabbit. Inside or not. Is that why you were worried?
So the Sacremento SPCA offers $35 for a neuter, $60 for a spay which is fantastic!  http://www.sspca.org/page.php?sid=114

You can definitely work on bringing your rabbit indoors. : ) Getting him neutered and litter trained will make it all the more easier so it’s great you are planning to do this.
