Please get your rabbit to a vet right away. That doesn't look normal to me. |

He needs to see a vet right away. If you do not have a rabbit vet, let us know and we may be able to assist you in finding one in your area. |

If anyone would like to catch up on this rabbit's case, there was a resolution at this forum: http://forums.rabbitrehome.org.uk/s...-my-baby.. I hope the leaders don't mind my posting this link, even though this is one of our older threads. Looks like this bun was able to be helped after all. |

Sorry, no idea why that double posted, I'm on my mobile and can't edit it. If a mod would kindly remove the duplicate, thank you. |

MimzyMum, thankyou thank you for posting this! I had been agonzing about this person's bun's infection and it had been eating at me. After we didn't hear back again on this forum from Ain, I could only doubt that the bunny made it and it is so uplifting to hear that he did! Would you know what the herb leaf that she said she gave tablets to him with, is called in the U.S.? Siam Weed, Christmas Bush...what would that be and is it available in the U.S.? THANKS again for posting. hope all's well with you and your buns! |

Sorry lash, I've no idea what that is. Just looks like a tea leaf to me. I hope it was something healthy for the bun. I was glad he recovered as well. I sympathize with the lack of proper vet care in some countries. Lucky for the bun the owner was persistent. |

Yes, persistence usually pays off. But with bunnies...I really didn't think her bunny was going to make it. Poor little guy! Thank goodness, she's cleaning him with antiseptic and putting cream on, plus giving him the antibiotic. Sounds like a good regimen and he looks so much more normal in the recovery pic she posted. |
