So to stop hijacking another’s thread, I thought I”d post here.

LoveDove is doing well and seems to be on the mend.  It seems that Marcy caught her doing a binkie a couple of days ago so I guess her recovery is on the way.

There are a couple of newish rabbits there that I would highly recommend.  First off is Copernicus (as always clicking on the pic will take you to the rabbit’s page

The only reason I suggest him first is that Marcy is quickly falling in love with him.  He’s a little shy but he is quite an intelligent and curious rabbit and loves playing with his toys, especially after you’ve moved them.

        Second is Whiskey

Whiskey is actually missing his left eye but I’ve never noticed it as that’s the one he always looks at me with (maybe I should take the hint?).  As if to make up for the fact, his right eye is actually blue on the bottom and brown on the top.  He’s a silly boy who has enjoyed long pets on my lap.

Another dutch who has also enjoyed long pets and giving tooth purrs is Rizzo:

She’s what I call a ‘typical dutch’ – very opinionanted and independant – she’ll let you know if you’re not being a proper slave.  They have on her cage “Attack Rabbit” and she can be a bit cage protective but she’ll snuggle down and purr and she once even began honking while getting pets.  However, once she’s done, she’ll let you know and if you don’t let her go immediately, you get a reminder nip.  Like I said, typical dutch – she’s best for someone who is a little more experienced with rabbits so that you can read their language better.

As always, I’m impressed with Marcy’s and her staff’s ability to make these rabbits such happy little creatures.  Well, except Tupac but he’s crazy and that’s another story for another day.

Anyway, I’m off.  Time for Tippy’s PT.  I’m not noticing any further improvement (he’s seem to have plateaued) but we’re trying to get another visit from the chiropractor.

As always, if you’re interested in any rabbit at SaveABunny, let me know and I’ll spend some time with them and give you a report.

Marcy is awesome! I respect her so much. She and the rabbits are lucky to have an advocate like you too.

I can tell this trio of rabbits is chock full of personality – I hope they find good homes soon.
