I'm going to start volunteering with my local animal shelter's awesome awesome awesome bunny program. The people who started it are amazing. I've misplaced the number to call (it'll turn up.) But I was wondering what are somethings good that they could use? I'm already stockpiling Newspapers, paper towel rolls, and tissue boxes.

any other ideas?

hay and high quality food is a major one. and man power. there's always a shortage of volunteers.

Those are all good. Also, they need money...sad but true even with all the donations of food and supplies, there are some things like vet bills and upgrades to the building that only money can buy. And of course, they need your commitment as a volunteer - you will be so much appreciated!

I would ask them as well, what do they need the most of. You'll soon discover what it is as well, once you start volunteering.

I'm really excited. the shelter doesn't give them much support, so they need all the help they can get.
