I finally gave my babies, Noodle and Meatball away last night. They went to one of my coworkers who lives pretty close to me, and she will be a great bunny parent. It was really difficult to let them go. 

I will miss Meatball's grunts, his racecar around the table, and tearing yellow pages like no tomorrow. I will miss Noodle's sweet personality and the way she always bumps me for pets or bumps her little nose to my face. 

I'm left with Cheddar and Poopy, which is fine. It was really stressful taking care of four rabbits by myself and I'm moving soon so hopefully all their lives will benefit now. I could tell immediately that Cheddar and Poopy were happier when they left. 

I'm sad and it's really bittersweet, but at least I can get updates on them since they went to a coworker.

Oh Regina I'm really sorry. That would have been a difficult decision.

It's a good thing it's a pair so they have bunny company. It will help them adjust in their new home.

Is your coworker going to be turned to a rabbit slave quickly? I think those 2 little lops will do their magic.

Oh yes, she will be a bunny slave. I chatted with her this morning about how they settled in last night and she was like in love with them. She had rabbits as a kid, so she will love them, which makes me feel a lot better.

Aww, I'm sorry. It's sounds like a very selfless decision to make though, I'm sure they'll both be happy, though it's a very hard time for you!

I'm sorry you had to let them go but at least you know they will be well taken care of. You should tell her to sign up to BB. We're great for new bunny slaves and I would love to get picture updates once in a while.

Cheddar and Poopy are so much happier now that Noodle and Meatball are gone. They are running around and laying all the time. It's kind of funny. I guess they never did like the other two.

I miss them though.

Oh gosh that really sucks! It sounds like you did the selfless thing. I hope soon it will be enjoyable for everyone involved. Maybe you could even schedule bunny playdates?!
