I know many of you will probably agree with what I have to say here..

I wish there wasn’t a need for animal cops or child protective services. I wish only responsible loving people were allowed to aquire animals. No animal or child should ever live in fear because of somebody who is supposed to take care of them or love them.

Children should never have to hear the words, “You have cancer” or “It’s terminal”

Children should never have to utter the words “I’m afraid/scared”

Children should never feel unloved or unwanted. They should not understand the word “hate”

Good people should live long lives.

People who spent their entire lives saving other people’s lives should not die at 41 because of cancer. People like that should NOT get cancer.

Why is it that these wonderful people are dying so young and yet there are criminals out there living until they are in their 90’s…?

A very good friend of mine who would make a wonderful mother can’t have children…How is that right?

The good thing that comes from that is that she some day plans to adopt which will give somebody who may have never had a “home” a really good one.

Why are animals lives less important than humans? People who love animals would most likely argue that they are pretty close to equal. You kill a person, you get life without parole…You kill an animal (if you get caught) you might get a fine and a few days in jail…I personally think the punishment should be worse because research shows that many people who injure/abuse/kill animals will later go on to kill a person. I can’t stand that they only get a slap on the wrist.

The native americans felt that all living things were sacred and they wasted nothing. They used the meat for food, the fur for heat, the bones for weapons. It breaks my heart when someone kills a deer and then just takes the antlers. It’s such a waste and it digusts and saddens me.

If there is anything that Labyrinth taught me was that life isn’t fair…but there should be somethings that are sacred. If nothing else children and animals shouldn’t ever have to feel pain, fear or unloved. Good people should live very long lives. I wish nobody ever got Cancer especially not children who have barely begun to live themselves, who have barely begun to understand what this world is about…

I’m sorry guys. This has just been bugging me to my core and I knew so many of you would understand. Thank you for listening.

We understand. I’m right there with you.

And you’re expecting a child. All of these fears are even more intense when your own little flesh and blood person is walking around in this crazy world.

You know, you are probably right.

Creatures that are so small and helpless shouldn’t understand true pain.

My parents divorced when I was 11 and I was forced to grow up. It was a hard time for me. I wanted to stay a child forever and be oblivious to everything around me.

I lost my dear mother, 52 years old, to cancer last December. She battled for 7 months. It was especially tough on me because I was her Power of Attorney. I had to make decisions for her because she was not able to. She went peacefully in hospice.

The world is cruel I read online someplace this stupid 23 year old (he is the same age as me! WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!) got a 4 year jail sentence for killing 4 rabbits!!

I am still young, but it scares me how one day I’ll be bringing a life into this world as well. I want to wait as long as possible. I will probably end up spoiling and sheltering the poor kid, lol.

Brittany I am so sorry to hear about your mother. It is one of the toughest things to go through to lose a parent that you were close to.
And about the 4 year jail sentence…that’s just soo messed up. Atleast he got some jail time, though he probably won’t learn from it…

Well I was always afraid that I’d “screw the kid up” but that’s no longer my fear. I will just have to come to terms with knowing I won’t be able to protect him or her all of the time. For years I was very adamant that I did not want children…I thought maybe I couldn’t handle taking care of something constantly…but I really think having buns really prepares you for motherhood (or fatherhood) If it wasn’t for little Myracle showing me that I would be willing to sacrafice so much just to take care of her and try to save her life, I don’t know…it would be different. Caring for Bud and Halo (even though they don’t need me quite as much as Myracle did) definitly has taught me a lot about myself.
Animals are so important. They don’t judge and they are always there to love you unconditionally. And so often they teach us about ourselves…things we would have never have known otherwise…

I am so gonna turn into the crazy rabbit lady…Just you watch… 🙂

                  Animals are SO important!!

I would be lonely all the time if I didn’t have Chacha bun. My grandma and I talked to my dad and he said it was fine to get a pet when I moved in with him. He loves animals.. I am very fortunate to have a dad that loves animals.

Chacha has taught me patience and love. I consider her my Thanksgiving bunny. She was born a day before Thanksgiving, and she will be a year old on November 24th. I owe her a lot.

There was one day earlier this year when I was upset about losing my mom. Chacha was a skiddish little baby bunny and I was crying next to her. It was like she understood me.. She came and flopped next to me. It made me feel so happy that she felt relaxed around me. Animals are amazing.

If she wasn’t so afraid of traveling, I would have registered her as a service animal by now LOL!!

Hey, don’t worry, I’m already “Bunny Obsessed.” LOL. Bunny parents need to stick together

Yeah, I don’t think a lot of people understand how we can love something so small…I’ve heard so many times “it’s just a rabbit!” No, it’s more like a child to me!

I was playing with Bud one day when he was out and he started grooming me and one of my friends asked in a very shocked and disgusted voice “What is he doing!” I was so hurt…I explained it to her but I coudl tell she didnt get it…

I remember last year Bunnie and Myracle passed in the same week (within 3 days of eachother) and work would not permit me any time off but someone in the department who had lost a Human family member got a whole week. I was so upset about that…I just felt like nobody understood what I was going through…but luckily I had found BB before that… But there were several times that I thought about quitting because of that.

Anyway, my sister always says that if everyone loved animals as much as she (and I) do the world would be a much better place. She is pretty wise beyond her years (in some areas anyways) and I’m very proud of her.
