I even added to it by hanging willow branches from the top of the inside.  He’d nudge ’em to get them out of the way, then they’d swing back, and he’d nudge and chew and had a grand ‘ol time.

He also did the same as your white bunny and tried to stick his nose in the cardboard rolls.  He jumped on top, ran inside and then out, over  and over again.  What fun!   Thanks!!

I made it, and now with my special little hanging dedads.  I rate it a 10!

Well – I just built one this afternoon.  My lazy bunnybutts couldn’t even be bothered to hop out of their house to help with the construction.  It took maybe 15 minutes to make, it was easy and fun.  I stashed a few  little dried strawberry pieces in with the hay. I also poked through some apple sticks, since I didn’t have carrot slivers or popsicle sticks.

So far Hareiette has chinned the corners, nibbled the hay on the outside and went back to flop in her house. I think Dori and Viktor might appreciate it more, so there’s no  official verdict yet.

ok – my kids give it six paws up. they all have been enjoying it.  most of the thrill has been pulling down the tubes of hay and nibbling and tossing them.  Viktor stole one and went leaping across the room with it and was very proud of himself 🙂

My baby bunnies loved it!! even though i couldn’t put in the fresh fruit for treats, Mable and Booboo still spent ages eating hay, digging, chewing and most of the time just lazing in there.  I added a large, long cardboard tube coming out of one side and they run through it on their way chasing round the room  they think its fab!

Great site by the way, this is my first time in participating in anything like this, but its good to know that i’m not the only person who loves their rabbits to peices!!

You are definitely not alone, in fact, I read that bunnies as house pets are becoming the fastest growing pet in your country.

I love the idea of the cardboard tube.   That’s great!

Do you have pictures of your bunnies?

Welcome Eneri, now you’re entered into the drawing twice!!!  Let us know how your bunny rates it!
What kind of bunny do you have? How old is s/he?

I have built this for my bunny, and he is completely unimpressed, as he seems to be with most things in his life! He seems only to enjoy chewing wires, sleeping under the coffee table and hoping around under my bed eating my sleeping bag. He’s a snobby little Mister for sure! I’ve left it in his big old bunny palace though so that he’ll understand that it IS in fact fun! He hasn’t even gone for the treats!

Welcome Sazemoo!!  Now that you posted, you are entered into the monthly drawing for bunny goodies.   If you win, maybe there will be something in there that will be more to his liking.

Bunnies sure are hard to please sometimes aren’t they?  That’s what started the whole toy test thing.   So many times we actually go out and buy stuff, only to find that what we brought was barely even worthy of a sniff.   Another toy test will be up soon, and maybe that one will be more interesting to him.

Maybe if you pretend he can’t have the boredom buster box, he’ll actually find it interesting.

What kind of bunny is he?  How old he?  What’s he look like?

it’s been a month now and although the toilet paper tubes with hay are long gone, my kids still love hiding in their bordom buster box. It’s even more exciting than the cottontail cottage!

That’s exaclty what my bunnies are doing too.  All the little goodies are gone.  (though I could put in new ones)  but they hang out inside too, and late at night, I hear them tearing little bits off of the inside walls.

P.S.  Thanks so much for your helping other members with questions.  It’s great to have another knowledgable rabbit savvy member on board who can offer educated advice to the others that are coming here to learn.

Looks like fun! I’ll definitely try making one for my bunnies. They love to explore!
