Hi guys, has you know,I have 2 rabbits,wendy and japan...Unfortunatly wendy hind leg was amputated yesterday....(it's a long story)It all went fine and she is now in recovery in the vet......But now she wont be able to walk properly on tiles or smooth floring...What do you recommend using for the floring of the condo???(sorry for the bad english...)

Hi, so sorry to hear about Wendy. I would use a any type of carpet that you can cut an fit to the condo floor. Many rabbits do well with a hind leg amputation. You may have to worry about arthritis in the future but it's manageable. Tripod rabbits can have a very good quality of life.

I found this awesome flooring that is usually used in daycares, etc. It's a squishy foam like stuff and fits together like a puzzle. My Dizzie doesn't chew so this really worked out for us. It cleans up really easily be just a little scrubbing and it looks great too! She really likes her room with this stuff in it.

My bun's pen sits atop some sisal mats I got at Petco. They're made for cats, but they're great for buns too. Textured, totally edible, and cozy.
