aaah can someone please help me?!?!?!?! im getting a new room and i was really excited but now im thinking giving lilly a small portion of it because i love how free and happy she looks in her x-pen when i take her outside for playtime. omg i trailed off so yeah and i wanna give her a space thats 5 1/2′ long and maby 2′ wide so im gonna build her a condo made out of nic grids that are 2 grids long and 1 grid wide. but the problem is that im only 4′ 5” and i can’t decide if i should make each level 1 grid tall or 2. and i can’t decide if i should make it 2 levels tall or 3 . also do u guys think that thats too much of a small space for her???? well at least i know that it will be better than her little cage that she lives in now  oh yea and do you think shell mind me looking down on her every once in a while bc sometimes she likes her privacy and sometimes she doesnt =/

Hi, first privacy is not problem. You can get her a hidey hole out of a cardboard box or upside down wicker basket or buy one from the store, so she has a private little cave to go into.

I would extend the nic cubes from 2′ to 4′ wide if you have the room to do that. ie 2 grids wide. The height should be something she can’t, or won’t, jump over.

Have you considered an xpen? I love mine, and it can be shaped to be long and narrow, square, or even octagonal. It is hinged all over with a door opening, so I just step inside to clean and move things. (I’m only 5’2″). You can get them in different heights also.

How about something like this size?

*edit: I should tell you that this is Bunjamin house. He only is in it at night, when we’re both gone, or when he chooses to sleep in it like the picture. This wouldn’t be enough space for 24 hours a day.

Or if she’s not a carpet/blanket chewer throw a rug or blanket on bottom and make an x-pen out of nic cubes. It can be done. And it would still be easy to move around to fit the space. And those green clips are great for fastening the door. And they’re like 80 cents at Home Depot.
