This is my current bunny condo (I got the idea from 101rabbits/mocha200, it was just such a cool cage I couldn’t pass the chance to make my own)  Anyways, if you can’t quite tell from the picture it is a 2×5 cage that is 4 tall. There is main bottom floor(all the floors are laminite) a half level and then a ramp leading up to the top level. (They use that little wooden house as a step)

This picture is a bit old. Currently I don’t actually have the ramp set up, because the newest bunny we adopted is not yet bonded with Bugsy, the white/grey bunny (Milo passed away a while after this photo was taken) and so she lives on the top level while Bugsy lives on the bottom floor. Its not my favorite set-up, but they both get at least 3-4 hours of play time in my room everyday. Until I can get them bonded this is what I will stick with, but they have slowly been warming up to each other.

But on to my main point-

I was thinking about giving the cage a bit of an “Update”, maybe moving around the levels a bit, and adding another half level etc. Any ideas??

        Thanks!!!!!!(:

I actually like your cage. I don’t think I’d start adding any more levels as I’m afraid it would “shrink” the height of your current ones and rabbits need to be able to stretch up on their hind legs as well as out.

I guess though you could do a half level above the litter box. They could probably easily jump up and down from there.

Thanks! Yeah, that does sound like a good idea. My other idea was maybe lowering the top level down a bit (they would still have at least 2 grids of height on the bottom floor) and adding a half level above the top floor. But I also like the idea of having one above the litter box! Then I wouldn’t have to go through the hassle of moving the levels around (Actually, the hassle would be for my dad….)

Your dad probably would appreciate just doing that one level then :~)
