I was just petting Chacha for a good few minutes, and all of a sudden, she lifts up her butt and pees on the carpet!

Do you think that this is anything to worry about? Do you think that she just HAD to go, but was just too comfortable being petted to run to the litter box? Her litter habits are pretty good.

It may be something to watch – it could possibly be a UTI. I guess I wouldn’t fret too much over one incident but would definitely watch for a pattern and then if it continues I might think UTI.

I agree with Sarita. If it happens just the once, I wouldn’t worry too much. Olivia pees in her bed once a while. If it was me and it happens again, I would check with a vet.

              Thanks

Chacha is fine! No issues today. I think she was just overly relaxed last night

Yeah, she was probably thinking: “Gee, I’m awfully comfy. I’d hate to have to get up…I do have to go, though. Oh, well. That is what the slave is for. Wiiiizzzz….agh.”
