My bunny is about 12 weeks old she is very active and friendly but....

She refuses to use a litter tray, she either moves it or tips it upside down and wees under it.

Although she comes in my room for a couple of hours every day she lives in a hutch in the shed and althoughi am happy with her doing her business in the corner of her hutch i really want her to be litter trained so it is easier when she is in the house.

Does anyone have any useful tips as i am currently pulling my hair out!

I think part of the problem is that she has a space outside and then for a few hours a day she comes inside. I think it's confusing for her.

First of all, can you bring her inside full time at all?

Second, do you have a litter box at all in the hutch outside? It doesn't sound like it to me. If she is moving the litter box around which is perfectly normal rabbit behavior, then you need to find a way to attach it so she cannot do this - I imagine she is bored outside and moving the litter box around is entertainment for her.

Also at this age, they are going through puberty and are very hormonal so she will need to be spayed soon which will help eventually with litter training.

I really wish i could bring her inside as i brought her as a house rabbit but Unfortunatly i am allergic to her and although it is ok for a few hours ifi am around her and the bedding for a long time it makes me very ill.

I will try and attach it somehow. She has lots of toys so shouldnt get bored.
