To my new foster He is currently nameless, but me and the hubby are working on that issue

This poor guy, he was up in a shelter for over a year with no name, and next to no attention, and a super bad diet of mostly pellets and carrots. He's rather overweight and shy, but seems to be a sweet boy. I'm fostering him here for RA until a spot opens up at OHS for him. In the meantime, he is enjoying the living room.

I'll get more pics later, after the hubby is awake, but for now, here is the cutie!

He's so handsome - I love the Agouti coloring so much. He reminds me of Pepe and Ms. Toffee. Can't wait to hear what you name him - everybunny deserves a name.

So cute! I wish I could help with names but apparently I'm horrible at it
I love your idea of Amelia Earhart... to bad he's a boy or you could use your own name. Hmmm what about Bunnard instead of Benard. You know I like puns!

Awww he's so cute! Good for you and your husband fostering this poor little guy =)

His colouring seems similar to my Luna's... Is that what is known as "agouti"?

Hi Simon!

I'm with Sarita, Love the agoutis. Hope you're enjoying looking at those big brown eyes MB.

Well his life is changing for the better. Hopefully as he grows confident you'll see some bunshine bursting through. (I also like a pun FF )

I just received word that Simon's sister, Cinnamon, died last night So Simon is definitely going to get a vet check up asap, and I am going to keep a close eye on him, don't want this sweet boy to get unwell He deserves to be in a good home after this past year, and be damned if I'm not going to help get him back in shape so he can rule his future home in comfort.

Their first owner put them in a shelter when they were 2.5 months old, after saying they were purebred mini rexes, and no one wanted to buy them for $500. ..note, they are definitely not rexes, and theres no way someone would buy one for that much. Clueless person. So they sat in the shelter for a year... Oct 26th would have been a year there.

awh . That's sad about his sister. Hopefully his vet check comes out with him being okay.

I'm a lil jealous, yet happy you got binkies. I haven't got any from lil girl yet. I plan on adding more room to her space today to see her reaction. She has decent litterbox habits so I'm curious if she'll do binkies 8)

That's so sad. Was this person a breeder? It sounds like it....why else would they want to sell them.

Probably.. a novice breeder, if that. Obviously didn't know enough to tell what kind of rabbits she had.

Simon seems fine this morning, happily pancaked for pets, hohpped around his pen and lounged in his litter box. Didn't eat all of his pellets from last night, so I will lower the amount tonite. Nibbled on some oat hay this morning, so maybe he'll eat more of it later...he isn't teh best hay eater. Wonder if maybe he has teeth issues, if he isn't eating his pellets and hay.

Bunnard -- OMGGGG. Hahahah, Simon is adorable though! I was wondering who Simon was when you were talking about him in the other October Chat! Now I know -- that's what I get for not following the forums much for a few days I guess! Maybe he does have teeth issues since you said he's bad with eating hay. I'd take him right in to the vet and watch him closely after what happened to his sister. Binky Free Cinnamon! <3 And sending vibes to Simon as well, even though I already did in the other chat! Can never send enough!

Memarie -- I think yours is Harlequin! I'm pretty sure anyways. Agouti, if I'm not mistaken, is more of a wild bun coloring! Where's Harlequin is more I wanna say tie-dye? LOL. Without the neon coloring! Hahaha. Figured I'd throw that in there since I don't think anyone else did for you?

This really is sad. I just wanna help everybun in the world! Urgh. I so wish these little creatures didn't have to rely on us for help.

And really, Memarie is an Agouti?!? Now I'm confused... *googles agouti and harlequin for differences*

tanlover, Memarie used to have a harlequin, who passed, but now has an agouti girl from what i understand

In Simon news, he had a bunch of fun this mornign bouncing around the living room, and having a nap in the bunny tunnel. He seems to be doing just fine, but will definitely keep an eye on him

Ohhhh, gosh. I'm getting all sorts of mixed up. You're totally right. I'm thinking of Marbles and not Luna. Both such gorgeous bunnies! And Luna will her one loppy-eared picture, how could I forget that cute face?? Silly me. Bunnies all over the world trying to keep track of is not easy! Sorry, Memarie! I totally mixed the two up. Hope you're not upset at all. <3 <3

And yay for Simon! Keep up that bouncing, Simon!

Hi MB
Was his sister and the other rabbit still in the shelter?
I hope the other one has come good.

I just had "brilliant" idea that you should get him a Simon's Cat snuggle toy heh heh. That would make a funny looking pair.
