Hi! My name is Ashelee and I just adopted a rabbit (my first ever!) about a week and a half ago. She is a year old flemish giant/rex mix. I got her from a friend of a friend who could no longer care for her. She used to live in their backyard but she now lives indoors with my boyfriend and I and our 2 dogs. Her cage isnt as large as it should be (40 inches long not too wide though) but we are moving into a house after the holidays and my boyfriend has some kind of elaborate plan to build her a large cage in her own room! She does get a lot of time out of her cage though to make up for not having a huge cage right now though.

I figured joining this forum would be good, seeing as she is my first rabbit and there are probably a lot of people on here who can give me lots of information! I just want to give her the best life possible!

While we're all just sitting here waiting, did you name Loki? If not do you happen to know how she came by that name? It would be so cool for Freya to have another of the Norse pantheon to pal around with online.

I did name her. I was looking for goddess names, but it happened to be a male name, being the god of mischief. And I just really liked it! haha.

So fitting for a bunny haha. Loki isn't actually a god though, he's Odin's blood brother which has gotten him into the pantheon but he never actually attained god status. Still the cutest name.
