Ruby jumped into his litterbox and that did it. Cotton gave a growly grunt and out she jumped flicking a piece of hay on Cotton’s head. I couldn’t help but laugh. Cotton sitting there with a hay on his head. Ahahaha. So I removed her. I think I am going to try letting her in his play area with him in his house. They never mark when they are together so maybe it will be ok. Then they can get more used to each other.

i think you can bond them together, but i think you’re going to need to take it very, very slowly. do a little bit at a time, even 15 minutes a day is fine. let them play in each other’s area to get used to the scent. feed them some food and hay together

Can they play together for a while in the bathroom or the hallway? Maybe with some scattered pellets to munch.

the bathroom used to be Ruby’s territory til few days ago. She went after the huge honey Bun in there. She didnt’ want him in there. He looked at me like WHA??? What did i do?

Yes they get on fine in cotton’s territory just stay out of his litterbox. After a bit Cotton will get upset. As the previous person said just take it slow even 10-15 minutes at a time. I am sure I can do that much. While hubby is sleeping. Shhhh hehehe

Well if Ruby’s gotta go…she is trained to look for the nearest litter box. Maybe have a second litter pan handy so there’s one for each if they get the urge?

yes true I have numerous plastic things I keep for extra litterboxes I can surely put one down for her. The one she already knows is hers. I just got a kick out of Cotton sitting there with hay on his head from her

When  you say take it slowly how slow.  When I try to get Zip and Bubba together it is a fight not just fur Bubba tries to get at his face.  Then Zip is so scared it breaks my heart.  Currently I have not tried it again for 2 weeks.
