To stop everyone before they start.... NOT HOUSING THEM TOGETHER!!!!
So I've been trying to adopt a rabbit to bond with my spayed female lop mix. There aren't many males in the area to adopt and I'm striking out at the places that do have males. I'm going to try adopting at another place near my parents house but if that fails, I'm thinking a guinea or two.
Has anyone had experience with this? My rabbit isn't aggressive and likes attention. Since they would be housed separately, I feel like I should get two guineas so that the guineas have company in their cage. My bunny is free roam so they could interact while I supervise the guineas being out of the cage. Also, anyone that may have experience, how much do the guineas add to odor? I manage the rabbit odor pretty well with changing litter. If I keep up with the guinea litter should it be too much worse?
Still hoping an adoption can happen for another bunny but, need to research plan b.
