I have just recently added my Holland lop Kyuubi (pronounced Q-Bee) to the family a month ago and i have been practicing trancing him.  I was wondering if it was normal that his feet twitches while being tranced..and if it was normal that his eyes were still a bit open? If not does that mean i'm not trancing him fully? Because i've heard that once tranced the bunny should be in a relaxed kind of sleep almost.

I don't have an answer for you, but I wanted to ask in addition to your question, what is the basic technique of trancing? How exactly is it done? I've tried before, but Floppy wasn't fully asleep, just kind of cute and sleepy looking. When I touched her paws, thinking about doing a nail trim, she woke up.... so I must not be doing it right?

If anyone can help me with Trancing 101 that would be splendiferous and mightily appreciated

Twitching during trancing isn't uncommon or anything to worry about.

ligeia - this article has photos and some basics about trancing, it can take a while of repeated practice for Floppy to stay like that even when being touched
