Lucky is a bedroom bunny he has a whole bedroom to himself and has tons to play on and with. My concern is now that it is cold outside I can’t take him outside on his leash to get sunlight. Does anyone know what I can do to get him the vitamins the sun gives him when he is outside. Will a sun bulb like we use for our bearded dragon work for the bunny or is there something I can give him for the vitamins he needs.

He can get sunlight through the windows. My rabbits have never ever gone outside – I don’t think that you need to worry.

She has a loft bed in front of her window some sunlight gets in but not very much plus the way her bedroom faces the sun only shines in her room for about 2 hours a day and its in the morning.

You still do not need to worry – she gets enough through the windows. She probably gets more than most people do.

My buns haven’t seen sunlight (besides vet visits) since we got them in April!

Well, besides the windows but they are located slightly to the left of them.

Ok good I just worry he is not getting the vitamins he needs that the sunlight gives. In the summer he goes out on his leash and next summer he will be going out inside a dog run that has a roof. He is on revolution for fleas so I don’t worry about that. He loves to go outside so I like to take him out and let him run. Thanks for all ur responses.
