Is NM safe to use to clean litterpans and cages with? I have been using a viegar and water solution but I hate the smell and sometimes it seems to make it worse.

Also there is a cleaner called GreenWorks at walmart, would this be okay as long as I rinse well? thanks

I use natures miracle to clean up accidents on the carpet. Don’t see why you can’t use it for litter boxes and such!

I use Natures Miracle ALL the time to clean out my litter boxes when I’m doing a quick clean and it works well and has never harmed my buns.

Since it has alcohol in it just be sure to rinse it off well before you put the pan back. But yes NM is safe as long as it isnt ingested.

I agree, though I am a little leary of Green Works, and would have to read the ingredients.

Btw, if you sprinkle a bit of baking soda into the water/vinegar solution, it fizzes, then cleans very throughly, then rinse it out well.
I’m not sure if it removes the smell, but my litter box never smells like vinegar afterward, so maybe that helps? Also, you only need 50/50 water vinegar solution, so maybe you’re using more vinegar than is needed.

If you don’t mind, I’m going to move this post to the Diet & Care section.
